decent internet speed and wifi coverage. rather small room, but it (+ open access guest kitchen) had all you need. Glad thta this area not as tightly populated, so we could find free on-street parking 10m from entrance, instead of paying for parking to hotel.

Great hotel with parking outside the door. All staff were very friendly and premature but not put friendly ☺️ We spent two nights at the Holiday Inn Dresden City South and everything was very clean and also the famous hair on the bed or in the shower was NOT here to see. Although we were only staying for two nights, we have always got a fresh made bed and fresh towels without which you had to take care of any way. I myself, as my friend says, are very pinging, but for the booked price of just €75 the night including breakfast we were fully satisfied. Just because our room had also a small window to be opened 🥰 Also on the mattress we have been able to sleep more than well, although the double bed is moved from two single beds was not one of us on the night Once in the middle between the two 😁 Only a manko, as we come from the country's North Sea Coast we are used to fresh eggs and house-made dressing with herbs, we deduct a point for this. Because the industrial rhetoric unfortunately makes breakfast a little bad. And be honest about so much more effort it is not even to hit a few eggs in the pan plus a few fresh herbs ☺️ Great would be if this would be improved. Where will very likely come back again! ☺️

Highly recommended! Central location just few minutes away from prime tourist attractions of Dresden. Excellent value of money. We stayed in family room with kitchen, specious enough for 4 adults. 2 TVs. Free sparkling water (2 bottles) on arrival, soap and shampoo are available in dispersers. No safety box. Good variety for breakfast, there is even a special kids corner with kids plates and cups, juices, candies etc. Free underground hotel parking.

I was already more often in this hotel with my sister breakfast than a day guest, I really have to say very clean hotel and it looks beautiful. Breakfast is super and very large choice, breakfast egg and mirror egg is always fresh here. The staff who makes breakfast is very friendly and is helpful. The staff give us tips what we can do in Dresden really super. The hotel is just in the location to the train station and the city centre. I personally want to thank the friendly staff in this hotel. Hotel service and environment are very good, check in is very smooth, the front desk staff is polite and humorous. The room is fully equipped, the curtains are very good for shade, the mattress is moderately soft and hard, and there are additional disinfection and epidemic prevention measures during the epidemic. The breakfast is also very rich, 12.5 The price of Euro is very close to the people. Vaccine passports will be checked and information registered before meals, and the dining environment is very quiet. But the downside is that the hotel pays 10 euros less than booking on the platform.

Lovely hotel. Great staff. Check-in and checkout perfect. Rooms clean, good size, wifi perfect, very comfortable all round. Great feature is the convenience store in the lobby with a variety of snacks, wine, beer, etc. Excellent location at the edge of the historic centre. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel twice during the last month. The first time we had a little suite on the top floor of the Bastei. This was fine, if a little bare. Checkin and breakfast were fine. The second time we found ourselves in the annex, the Konigstein. Check in at the Bastei was poor with 20 minute queue. The annex had a fast food stall across the front and entry is by room card. The lift was dirty when we arrived and smelled of vaping and did not work properly. The impression is of an unmanned operation. The room was on the 6th floor and was noisy during the evening, from the very busy street below. At breakfast we were instructed to sit at a table already occupied by another guest and the staff member was aggressive with us saying the nicer tables were all for groups. No sign of these by the time we left of course. Also over-zealous table clearing, go to the buffet for more and your cutlery and coffee are gone. So better check in, maybe safes in the better rooms, and some serious staff training about customer service, rather than bullying.

We changed to this hotel at the last minute and I'm glad we did. The location is excellent (opposite the Green Vault museum - well worth a visit), and the buffet breakfast was very good - well-stocked, with lots of hot options. Best of all was the executive lounge which came with our business category room. The lounge had a great range of beer, sodas (we loved the rhubarb soda,) and cheese, bread, ham etc at 6pm, plus an excellent selection of coffees - it was a lovely place to hang out rather than head to a restaurant. Our room was large - as pointed out in several reviews, the sink area is 'open-plan' but the shower and loo are behind closed doors! Dresden was only a pit-stop for us on a long European trip but we were so glad we made the detour and to this hotel. (NB: the spa/sauna area in the basement is good but the sauna is 'textile free' - ie nude - which was a shock to these UK travellers!)
