Inn at Dresden is like visiting the longtime home of a 75-year old; creaking floors, dimly lit halls and stairs and an old house smell. The furnishings - tables, chairs, pictures, artwork and random stuff - look like they were just accumulated over a lifetime and never updated or refreshed. My room on the very bottom floor had dead spiders by the bathtub, mismatched furniture, a television from the 80s, crooked window shades and no air conditioning. Outside, the flowerbeds had weeds. The owner was friendly and made a decent morning breakfast. I sense that maintaining a house of that size is too much for her; it would take a regular team of 5 and a lot of investment to bring the place up to modern B&B standards. It was adequate for my needs, but don't set your expectations, like I did, by the outdated 5-star Tripadvisor reviews.

Our son had a wrestling tournament near by high school so we stayed there for two nights. We did not know what to expect but chose this place due to a great review and we were right! The owner of this Inn, Joy is such a sweet lady and she made our stay very special. She cooked delicious hot breakfast for us every day and she had a fresh squeezed orange juice too! The Inn itself is very unique and beautiful with huge balcony and great view! Another great thing we loved about this stay was that our beds were just so comfortable and my husband and I had a very very good night sleep! We travel a lot and have stayed in many different hotels including 5 star expensive places but for some reason, their bed was the best bed I slept in!! We highly recommend this beautiful secret gem at Dresden! Thank you so much, Joy to make our stay very special and enjoyable!

Anniversary 19
My husband and I stayed for one night in the zane grey it was absolutely gorgeous the fireplace alone was heaven we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We were served a four course dinner with a bottle of win,we even asked for another. It was delicious. The host/ owner Joy was delightful and a true pleasure to talk to very friendly and accommodating we felt like family.we were invited to come with our family to spend Christmas at the inn we are looking forward to that. Thanks again Joy for have us.

Anniversary, loved it here.
Everything was amazing. Joy was a fantastic host. Her food was unbelievable. She was sweet as sugar and made our anniversary so rememberable. The decor was fantastic. The bedding was comfortable. We were in the Hideaway room and it was very nice. We enjoyed Dresden and the Inn made it magical. We will absolutely be back. The sangria was amazing! Thank you so much Joy!

Horrible !! I called this location to inquire about a stay in the coming weeks. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. I tried to ask her general questions about the facility and each question was met with hostility, and she ended up hanging up on me. Very disappointed giving the fast this is a historical location.
