Quality Inn

We've had good experiences at Quality Inns, and this one in Dover was no exception. Friendly, helpful staff. We reserved a King suite, which had a nice sitting area with couch, chair, coffee table, etc. More than adequate work space. Nice shower, larger vanity, and even extra bedding and pillows in the dresser. Great breakfasts each morning, varying in selection each day. We stayed four nights while visiting Amish country, and over all, this was about the nicest room we could have asked for. A real good experience, and we'll be back next time we visit the area.

The hotel is very clean. The staff was very attentive. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were very fluffy. The breakfast offered scrambled eggs and bacon, bagels, toast, numerous cereals, juice, coffee, waffles. There was A staff person who is taking care of the breakfast and was very attentive each time someone left their table. They came out and disinfected the table and was always wiping down the food area. The hotel is to. This is one of the quietest hotels we have stayed in. We did not use the pool or the hot tub. Everything that we used was a 4.5 stars

We stayed here after visiting the Warther Museum an Gardens. (Highly recommend). The rooms were fine. The room was clean. The staff was friendly an helpful. They have a free hot breakfast. It was good. Nice to eat before getting on the road. The price was reasonable. I would stay here again.

Very pleasant, with no glitches. Everything worked and the rooms were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty austere, but that's what you get in these days of cost reductions--better to cut back on breakfast than on room-related costs.

I'm offering an average score for our stay at this Quality Inn. We started off with a mixup with the room assignment and were given a key card for a room already occupied. The front desk was prompt and gracious in correcting the error, but I was still a bit uncomfortable from the awkward encounter. The room was clean and staff friendly. We were especially impressed with the breakfast staff person, who was patient with restocking a very busy breakfast area. Be aware this is a discount hotel, so a heads up to bring your own shampoo and such if you're picky about such things. The breakfast offered during our weekend stay involved cereal and breakfast sandwiches to heat up in a microwave.

This is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in from Choice Hotels or any loding properties. Not just clean but exceptionally clean - no dirt in the corners, no hair on the floor and in the tub, or on the sheets like soany hotel brands. The doors, handles, mirrors, etc. Are all spotless clean. The halls are spic n span and the dining area is also. It is evident that the housekeeping staff takes pride in their work and the management does their jobs. We had just spent the night in Independence Ohio at the Marriot property - not clean and the beds were like rocks with flat pillows - a poor sleep. This hotel and the one next door are always above and beyond clean. Excellent staff, plenty of parking, nice amenities, and a price that cannot be beat. We have visited this location more than 30 times - never a bad experience. This property should be used as the flagship for training by the Choice Hotel brand as well as IHG, Marriot and Hilton and all others. Hair in the floors and in the beds is a big 'yuk' for me. Hair is never a problem here. Mold and mildew seem to also be issues in all hotels and resorts - a simple Clorox clean up spray and dry towel will stop it - when I see the pink and black on the walls in the shower I know it has not been cleaned. I travel frequently for business and leisure so I carry my own supplies.

This hotel was one of the cleanest hotels that I have stayed in a while so nice and the staff is amazing Mary at the front desk is amazing the maids and all the staff are also amazing and I’m very happy with our stay at this hotel. We came for a wedding and it couldn’t have been better thank you for everything

The best part was the beds; very comfy. The hotel is a little older, but clean and well maintained. The pool area looked very nice, but was closed while we were here. Staff was great. Breakfast offerings were accept, but not great. Will probably stay here again.

This was the second stay for three friends two nights July 29-31. We got a standard two queen room that had been recently updated. It was clean and the beds were good. There are two floors so request second floor if you don’t want folks jumping on top of you. There is an indoor pool and hot tub as well as a free breakfast. We were there over a weekend so I assumed that’s why the rates were A little higher. It’s a good hotel if visiting Sugarcreek in the area as it’s not real far and the rates are lower than Sugarcreek. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I ask is please provide bigger garbage cans when not providing daily housekeeping service and more towels would be appreciated as well.
