We were pleasantly surprised with the Hampton Inn in Dover. Even though there was a huge tour bus and full parking lot, the hotel was pretty quiet. Our room was very clean and well-appointed. Location was convenient. My hubby's only complaint is the $100 incidental fee temporarily tacked onto the bill.

Place was easy to find and fast and efficient check in, Once inside our room however, the sink had sand in it? At first I thought if was the design so I turned on the water but it was not. There is no hand soap at the sink, so I asked for soap from a staff member in the hall. I later notice that the desk had not been wiped down as there were stains on it. The worse thing was a sound of something very loud running and this was all night. I took pictures of the sink and the desk, but the loud noise was the worse. It was a very busy weekend, so the soap and the stain I let go by but the noise was not acceptable.

We spent one night at both the beginning and end of a trip to far down east Maine & New Brunswick. Hotel is clean, quiet & comfortable. HVAC system worked well, plus the windows open for fresh air. Breakfast was great and plenty of room in both the food and seating areas. The room we chose for the first night wasn't available because they are in the process of renovating - so it will be an even better hotel in the not too distant future. We had a couple of minor issues upon arrival the second night which the front desk staff quickly attended to and resolved. Highly recommend and plan to stay there again should we be in the area.

Our Comfy, clean, quiet room was a real pleasure when we needed a place to sleep after a long, healthy outcome at the hospital. We arrived very early in the morning and the front desk representative was friendly, alert and helpful. She quickly and efficiently checked us in and we were pleased with the state of our room. Easy access to everything, even free toothpaste and toothbrushes were supplied with a smile. The continental breakfast that was included with the room consisted of a good variety and the lounge area for the service was comfortable and inviting. A very pleasant stay and a welcome improvement to our hotel experiences elsewhere in the states over the past few years. We recommend and would choose the #Hampton Inn - Dover, NH again.

Nice location. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Dover has some wonderful restaurants. Highly recommend Patty B's Italian restaurant. Also, Robert's Maine Grill in Kittery, Maine is an excellent seafood restaurant. want to do some shopping... some nice outlet stores right in Kittery, Maine.

As a Diamond Hilton honors member, I have been to numerous Hampton Inn hotels. I have always enjoyed them. Never gave one a bad review. Stayed at the Hampton Inn Dover this past weekend. The breakfast was awful! Fake egg omelets were soggy and tasteless. Sausage was terrible. Few little over ripe bananas and tiny, tasteless apples. No other fruit. Terrible yogurt. Three times during the weekend I tried to make tea with the hot water in the urn next to coffee urns. The hot water is always luke warm. Would not get tea bag to release color into the water. This hotel needs to up their game. Can't compare to other Hampton Inns.

This hotel is a no-brainer for me. My child is a UNH student and it’s a nicer price point than Portsmouth and there are really good restaurants (Chapel & Main is fantastic). It’s always quiet, the rooms always smell clean and bleached, and the bathrooms and floors are immaculate. This time I stayed in an accessible room and it had some dings and scratches on the walls, a broken thermostat with a handwritten note - but still, clean and quiet. I am a Hilton Honors member so I used an app to check in/out and access my room, which was cool. The rooms look like they’re starting to show some wear, and I missed breakfast this time, but I will be back.

The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The location was convenient, lots of restaurants and shops close by. The staff at the desk were friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. The elevator is very slow, I wish there were two. The breakfast was ok, usually its great, but this stay was not so great. But it was complimentary.

Lovely 2-night stay with some friends as we traveled up here by motorcycle from Connecticut. Check-in was quick and easy and staff were fabulous throughout our visit. Our room was bright and clean, and with plenty of room for three of us. Very quiet overnight and very comfortable beds. I especially loved the extra large fridge in the room! Plenty of free parking. Only real drawback was the thin, scratchy toilet paper, and a very small gym. The water ran out of the cooler in the gym on the second day we were there :( Breakfast selection was also only mediocre.
