Homewood Suites by Hilton Dover

CAUTION!!! I booked a king studio in mid June for July 14-22 2025. I paid in advance. I’m in Hilton honors and have been for many years. When we arrived they stuck is in a studio with 2 queen beds in a very cramped room. I complained and they told me my reservation was a “float”, apparently meaning they didn’t care what I booked. They tried to tell me the cramped room with 2 queens was more expensive and they were giving me a break by not charging me more. I called and complained to Hilton honors. Since we are still here, I was told the manager would contact me. I waited all day and, guess what, I never saw the manager. We are stuck here till the 22nd and there isn’t a lot I can do about it because the other places here in Dover are full. I stayed here several times before. It’s definitely gone down hill. The phone in the room doesn’t work and they refuse to fix it. The TV is a piece of junk and only works intermittently. Again, they were not concerned. I was a loyal honors member but clearly, that needs to be reconsidered. I’d stay away from this place unless you don’t care what room you are going to end up in and you don’t care what the charge you.

We were in a bind due to a family emergency and needed to move my granddaughter's sixth birthday party. Justin in sales made sure that little Elizabeth could host her friends on one day's notice. We rented a small suite and were able to use the breakfast area and pool. The hotel staff were very accommodating and the day was saved. I do not have enough good words to describe the hotel and their kind staff who treated us like old friends!

The staff was really nice and accommodating. They made it feel as close to home as it could be. Alaysha went above and beyond to really help when issues arose. I would recommend to anyone to stay there. I really like what the hotel offered like the pool and the hot-tub. Not to mention outdoor area and gym. The laundry was very convenient.

My partner and I were directed to the Homewood Suites in Dover, NH by our insurance company after sustaining damage to our home. Our stay was 4 months long. Despite missing our home and normal routines, we enjoyed this hotel more than we thought we would. The facility is impeccably clean, the beds comfortable and breakfast ample. The friendly staff go above and beyond…always greeting guests with a smile and a genuine willingness to help as well as asking about our day. Deepest gratitude to Scott and Beth in dining services, Barbara in housekeeping and a special thanks to Alaysha who mans the front desk with pride. You all work so hard at your jobs and your employer should be very proud of you. You all made us feel like family. Thank you.

Service is excellent. Alaysha at the front desk is super helpful. Wednesday night socials are superb. The service here is amazing. The amnesties are excellent. I would recommend this place to all who wish to stay in or around the Dover area.

Alaysha is Amazing so thoughtful and professional! Anything I needed during my stay she was able to accommodate. Staff is very friendly and quick to resolve any issues that come up. 6 months of staying here I would highly recommend to everyone! I honestly can't think of anything I would improve. Made me feel like I was with family during my stay.
