La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Douglasville

The rooms were very clean. Comfortable mattresses. A good nights sleep. Surprisingly quiet. Great convenient location.

Staff was very friendly. That goes a long way with me. The hotel seemed dated with some upgrades. My room was clean and beds were comfortable. Another plus was the location is situated in a low area with high banks of manicured lawns and overgrown kudzu surrounding the building. I found that pleasant, and it buffers out traffic sounds. Breakfast buffet was OK - just typical, nothing spectacular. The only thumbs down were a very loud obnoxious bathroom fan (that automatically comes on with the light) and very cold scrambled eggs on the breakfast buffet (I ate breakfast at 8:00 - no reason for eggs to be cold at that time). I would stay there again if in the area.

I'm a home rental guy, I'd rather stay at an actual house than a hotel, however, this visit to La Quinta was actually surprisingly good. The workers were super nice. We had 2 separate rooms and had 2 small pets. While the location was not my favorite, we needed a halfway point between Tampa and Memphis, and this worked great. Rooms were clean, no smells, helpful employees, and a decent breakfast. What more could you ask for? I would stay here again if we were passing through the area.

Stay often excellent

This hotel was very quiet and clean, which is all you need. Pillows were a little on the hard side, but I slept very well. Breakfast was better than I would expect at a hotel like this. Would stay again, for sure!
