Coach trip. Lovely hotel, unfortunately didn't get a Seaview room but the bedrooms are a good size. Lovely to walk out of the front door onto the sea front. Pillows not comfortable but bed good. Adequate ventilation in bedroom to keep it cool to sleep. Food, buffet style.

This is a 3star Hotel and that's probably about right. It hosts Coach parties and I wouldn't want to be there as a n individual. We were part of a coach party and it was fine. The food was good and plenty of it. Dining is on long tables so there wasn't much elbow space. The room was clean and a good size. The shower fine. Downside it was very hot and we were woken a 6.30 each morning when the kitchen fans were started. So it was keep the windows shut and be hot or open them and be woken ! Good location for town.

The Rutland hotel is outstanding in its location, comfort, cleanliness, staff helpfulness and the food is superb. We were on a coach trip but regardless we were all treated like royalty. I 100% recommend this hotel and will be visiting again, thank you to everyone who made the holiday so special.

Stayed here for the Manx GP and was absolutely the right choice. Food was very good with plenty of choice, rooms were very clean but the best bit was the staff who were absolutely fantastic, friendly, polite and the most helpful I have met with each one prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a great stay. I will be back next year.

We have recently returned from a coach party trip to the Rutland Hotel and have nothing but praise for the high standard of professionalism of the Manager and staff. The way that they dealt with a sudden emergency was amazing. they were calm, efficient and reassuring and managed to mitigate the problem within an hour, ensuring everything was back to normal the next day. The hotel itself is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the food is delicious, thanks to a good chef. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rutland due largely due to the attentiveness and consideration of the staff there - so thank you all

Lovely hotel situated right on the sea front, lovely friendly and helpful staff, room at the back of the hotel but very spacious with a great shower. Self service breakfast which was excellent also the carvery at evening. A couple of niggles one why only one time for breakfast 7:45 who on holiday wants to get up that early! Entertainment on the Monday evening when everyone on a coach holiday who had been travelling for hours needed an early night, no entertainment on the Tuesday and Wednesday then again entertainment on the Thursday when it was another early start to catch the ferry the next day!

My father and his partner came on a trip with G, line last week, they were due home on Tuesday but Elizabeth was taken poorly on the Monday morning and was hospitalised leaving my father upset and anxious they are both elderly, the Rutland hotel was absolutely fabulous with him, they made sure he could contact his family and let him stay for free until Elizabeth was discharged, we as a family cannot thank them enough for their lovely gesture and for looking out for him, the whole staff were amazing and the hotel and food was outstanding. Thankyou so much again for looking after them.
