Nice hotel with good breakfast, only several minutes walk to the beach. Certainly stay there again if we come by the area around.

I had a surprise celebration as I have been doing hairdressing for 60 years at the Major which was organised by my daughter and son.The celebration started at 2pm and the weather was fantastic so we could sit outside in the garden Milly and the team look after us very well the buffet was brilliant with plenty for everyone , well done and thank you all

This hotel is located in a quiet part of West Dorset, 5 minutes walk from the famous Chesil beach and the sea. Our room was very comfortable, we slept well and the breakfast was good, The staff were friendly and attentive. I believe it is fair to say that parts of the hotel require renovation and modernisation, however I understand there are new owners who will probably invest in the hotel.

We had lunch in the conservatory and received very attentive and friendly service. The menus was well considered, and the food was superb and served promptly. The view from the conservatory was just beautiful and all of the staff were professional and friendly. They made our visit memorable and Max showed us all around the property where we had got engaged - in the dining room - 38 years ago! Memorable.

Very high quality food! The manager was very friendly and chatty. The restaurant is very cosy, lovely vibe and energy with good music. The whole place is nicely furnished with a vintage style. I had the fish and chips which was lovely and crispy.

Stayed on 28 th Sept last minute, did not book meal .Walked into the bar, a polite person that worked at the establishment who was off for the day kindly pored us drinks and took order while the lady behind the var was busy with other customers. The food was excellent, very hospitital place well worth a visit.A credit to the staff.

The Manor House was just done the road from where we were staying in West Bexington. We had a delicious meal of fish and chips. The restaurant had plenty of ambience, and service was excellent. If you are in the area, try out this atmospheric restaurant.

Great location, sea view, crab linguini was amazing, recommended by a local down at the beach. Breakfast had quqlity ingredients. Service could have been faster. My wife had stayed before but my first time. Will definitely be back. Must have reached the character target by now.
