Donji Seget Hotels with Pools

I would love to give the hotel 5 stars. The location is fantastic. A fairly isolated spot a few kilometers from Trogir. Huge grounds slopping down to a beautiful beach. A number of clay tennis courts and soccer fields. There is a boardwalk which in the past had a number of small shops, restaurants, and ticket booths for tours and rentals. Unfortunately since Covid most of them have closed. There is one restaurant, one bar, and one ticket booth remaining. This leads into the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. The hotel food is horrible! You are much better off taking a water taxi to Trogir (4€) if you want a decent meal. The beach restaurant is adequate. The immense hotel itself is an old Soviet style palace which has recently been renovated.The rooms are spartan. The staff needs some hospitality training. My wife was overcharged at the bar. One year we took an apartment/cabin there. It worked out nicely. Despite my complaints we will probably go back for a 4th visit, the area is so nice.

We spent 5 nights at the hotel. The location is lovely, close to Trogir/Split and the airport. Hotel was OK - staff were very helpful. The rooms had a nice view over the sea and it was good watching the boats and airplanes come in. A light on the balcony would be good, to enable people to sit out and read at night. Pool at the top of the hotel was refreshing - one for the views and not swimming. Breakfast buffet was OK - eggs all cooked fresh, pancakes cooked in bulk and reheated (not nice) and a nice variety of cereals and cold meats. We went out in the evening. Buta and Segetski Dvori were our favourites, but plenty of choice either way down the promenade. Days out - Trogir (walk or taxi boat), Seget Vranjica (hours walk along promenade/path opposite way to Trogir) and a half day speedboat 3 Island tour, including the Blue Lagoon. The water is lovely and safe for swimming around the area
