Clean, nice hotel, in the Songshan area. Perfect for business travellers. The room is spacious and clean, with all comodities. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is really great, with a lot of choice, Western and Chinese. Convenient location, with a big shopping mall located from a 10-min walk.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Garden Hotel with my family, and I can't say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after our daily adventures. It was clear that the hotel prioritizes cleanliness and guest comfort, which is always a plus for families. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic swimming pool. It was the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind, with enough space for everyone to enjoy. My family absolutely loved it, and we spent many joyful afternoons splashing around together. The location of the Royal Garden Hotel is another significant advantage. It's easily accessible, making it convenient for exploring nearby attractions and getting around the area without any hassle. Overall, my family had a wonderful time, and we truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. We are already planning our return visit and will definitely be recommending the Royal Garden Hotel to our friends and family. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway that caters to families, this hotel is the perfect choice!

The room is large, the bedding is comfortable, and the hygiene is good. The hotel is right by Songshan Lake. I went to the lake twice a day for jogging, and it felt great. It is very convenient to eat, and there are all kinds of food next to the hotel. The breakfast is especially worthy of praise, with both Chinese and Western food, and the taste is good and very cheap. But the car entering the hotel lobby is very congested. 

Very near my meeting venue with a variety of food options all within walking distance. Very clean and very good cuatomer service as well. Recommended.

The hotel's location is absolutely superb and incredibly convenient; Songshan Lake Scenic Area is just 200 meters to the left from the exit. It's also very close to Vanke Life Plaza and Central Park, and the Yulanli Cultural and Art District is only a 15-minute walk away. With shopping areas and attractions all within easy reach, exploring the area won't tire you out. The hotel boasts a modern style, making it quite photogenic. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, featuring smart room controls and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. A mini-fridge in the room was perfect for a refreshing cold drink in this weather. During check-in, the front desk even upgraded my room for free! All the drinks were complimentary, and there were welcome snacks upon arrival. Overall, it was a truly pleasant stay. I'll definitely be back next time.

I will start with positive: service is always excellent in this hotel, everyone who works there do their best to help and arrange guest’s needs. We loved the choices of restaurants, food was excellent, cocktails at the bar were delicious, spa area with sauna and swimming pool was great and clean. Garden and green area around beautiful. Negative: in our room the shower was not very clean, large ball or black hair was stuck on the wall of shower. When we got our room service order, ripped off leg of cockroach was laying on the tray next to the plate of food. We asked for an extra bed for our son, they brought a bed that was more a torture device, the wire spirals from the mattress was coming up and digging into the back when laying on this torture bed. My son could not sleep on that bed, no one could. And we ended up sleeping on one bed 3 people, it was not comfortable at all. Another thing, we have noticed that guests at the pool are allowed to spit into the main pool water. One guy rinsed his mouth and gargled and spit that water in the pool where people are swimming. It absolutely disgusting. It need to be forbidden to do in public pools.

I'd like to share my experience staying at Banyan Tree Dongguan Songshan Lake. Our stay there was truly superb. For anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Shenzhen city life, but without the hassle of traveling too far or expending too much energy, this hotel is the most effortless and ideal choice for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, a friendly security guard promptly opened our car door. A female bellhop then proactively assisted with our luggage and guided us to the front desk. The reception staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The entire check-in process was smooth, swift, and comfortable, feeling as seamless as a dream. What truly stood out and deserves special commendation was the exceptional service from the front desk staff. After exchanging contact information, one particular staff member took care of us throughout our entire stay with incredible attentiveness. Their care was apparent morning, noon, and night. In the morning, they would greet us, share hotel information, and even advise on the best time to check-in to avoid waiting. Around midday, they'd follow up to ensure our room experience was satisfactory. In the evening, they'd kindly remind us to close the balcony door, as the hotel's lakeside and mountainous setting sometimes attracts 'little critters' like mosquitoes and other small animals. Their post-check-in service left us thoroughly impressed and extremely satisfied. They consistently demonstrated professionalism and meticulously handled all our arrangements through detailed communication. This proactive, 'go-the-extra-mile' service deeply touched us as guests. Such dedication solidified our appreciation for the hotel's professionalism, truly demonstrating that attention to detail makes all the difference. The hotel room itself was incredibly spacious, measuring over 70 square meters. It felt huge and expansive, providing more than enough space for the two of us. During evening turn-down service, the room was infused with Banyan Tree's signature essential oils and aromatherapy scents, which was incredibly soothing – exactly the kind of sensory luxury you'd expect from such a brand. The bed was large, and the bedding exceptionally comfortable. Coupled with the soft, warm lighting, it created a perfect ambiance for sleep. As someone who often struggles with insomnia, I found myself drifting off quickly and comfortably that night without any trouble. The in-room toiletries were Banyan Tree's exclusive products, which we absolutely loved. The shampoo, in particular, left my hair feeling wonderfully voluminous. I was so impressed that I immediately ordered some online after returning home. While the overall footprint of the hotel grounds isn't massive, the walk from the lobby to the Chinese restaurant takes about 7 minutes, which was actually quite pleasant. The landscaping along the way is beautifully maintained, and we even spotted two charming geese – a delightful little surprise! The hotel's design and decor are incredibly photogenic, with a color palette that makes for stunning pictures. We spent a joyous day exploring the hotel with our camera, snapping photos everywhere, and honestly felt like there wasn't enough time. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals, costing around 50 RMB per bike per hour. Since we were only there for a short 2-day, 1-night stay, we didn't have enough time to rent bikes and explore the surroundings. Overall, our stay experience at the hotel was excellent. This vacation, complete with mountains, a lake, the Banyan Tree Dongguan Songshan Lake's exceptional service, and our joyful memories, was truly unforgettable.

I think the best hotel so far from my China Trip, very clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, the staff here Dream Yang gave us alot information, which i think very helpful on our stay here. stove provided inside room, can cook and wash, good view from hotel, alot shoplot and eatery nearby, easy to book taxi here

The breakfast is very rich😋There is also a free self-service midnight snack in the evening, a 24-hour free gym, and free laundry and delivery service in the morning👍Robot delivery is super convenient! Xiao Min at the front desk is very considerate❤️

I never imagined I'd receive such exceptional five-star service at this price point. 👍 The staff at check-in were very professional and handled everything quickly and efficiently. 👍 The room was truly flawless – perfectly clean and odor-free. The lake view paired with the fully integrated smart assistant (Xiao Du) made for an incredibly enhanced experience. I had a very comfortable stay. In the morning, it was just a 10-minute taxi ride to Songshan Lake for a run, and there are also various dining options conveniently located downstairs. Breakfast was good; while not a vast selection, the items were high quality and thoughtfully chosen. A special shout-out to the noodle station – the chef was incredibly friendly, offering fresh beef and beef brisket. The coffee machine was also excellent. I highly recommend this hotel, whether you're traveling for business or just looking for a relaxing weekend getaway. I will definitely be staying here again next time!!
