Hotels in Humen Railway Station/Humen Wanda, Dongguan

Upon arrival, we had to wait two hours for our room. This might be due to the hotel's proximity to the Strawberry Music Festival, leading to a high occupancy and overwhelmed cleaning staff. While the front desk service was fine, the staff member at the entrance of the afternoon tea restaurant had a really bad attitude. The room also had a very strong, unpleasant odor, and we even found water left by the previous guest in the fridge.

Stay here before when it was run as holiday inn express. Everything is the same except the breakfast is on the 14th floor instead of the previous basement floor. Everything was good. Room cleaned everyday and all the toiletry provided. Location is in the center od the humen with all the shopping including walmart in the same building in the mall. Restaurants and tea is everywhere. Dim sum resturant right across the street next to dominos pizza. Rainbow mall is just another 5mins walk away. My go to place to stay when im in humen.

The building and room was adequately maintained and clean, albeit there were stains on the carpet and some broken outlets with cracks or loose fitted on the wall. The room was furnished nicely with a desk and chair but the TV was poor quality with static and a blurry picture. The AC in my room did not work even though it was set to 10 Celsius and on “High Mode”. I woke up with sweat and needed a shower. The Kansas City restaurant advertised was closed and the first Bella Donna restaurant appeared closed since all the lights were turned off and only one waiter was in the area, but he allowed me to have dinner and the food brought out was good quality and portion size. The area around the hotel is not great as you will need to get a car to go somewhere interesting. I walked down some of the streets, there is nothing close by of interest. The doorman kept staring at me when I would enter or exit the building, he would open the hotel door but not the car door. Sometimes he was not there. Overall, a good stay but the money you pay is in the quality of your room and bed. The hotel was very quiet, played good music around the building and smelled very good. Happy with my stay. I would come again.

It's widely known that hotels in Dongguan offer excellent value for money, so I specifically chose to stay on a Sunday night to take advantage of lower prices and treat my mom to a nice experience. It was absolutely fantastic, definitely deserving of a five-star rating! The hotel has been newly renovated, but thankfully, there were no lingering odors. I particularly loved the New Chinese style decor – it's incredibly photogenic and stylish. The room's amenities were modern yet created a very cozy atmosphere. The bed had the perfect firmness, feeling incredibly luxurious. Even the complimentary fruit platter was beautifully presented. The outdoor pool had exceptionally clean water, and the weather was perfect too, with clear blue skies and fluffy white clouds. Having not swum in a long time, I thoroughly enjoyed doing several laps, which felt incredibly refreshing. The most delightful surprise was the two hours of complimentary golf practice! We got to hit balls at a professional driving range, and the hotel even offered basic instruction. Even as a complete beginner, I had an absolute blast. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the hotel's lunch buffet was also very reasonably priced. All in all, the value for money was exceptional. I'm already planning to bring my mom and grandma back for her birthday to enjoy it again!

The room was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. There were no unpleasant odors, and the TV's screen mirroring feature was incredibly convenient. The hotel also offered self-service laundry facilities, and having a gym right next door was a big plus. Breakfast at the restaurant was great, with a rich variety including popular items like Cheung fun and salads, and the taste was delicious overall. They even allowed guests to pack up any unfinished food. The hotel's location was also convenient, with shopping malls just a short distance away. The front desk staff were very polite; they helped me with directions and were always willing to assist with any needs. Overall, I had a fantastic experience.

High-end atmosphere and classy. The water from the tap is super comfortable and large. The hotel room is very spacious and well-equipped. The air conditioning is very cool in summer. The front desk lady Baoyi is very enthusiastic and has very skilled business skills. Check-in is very smooth. This time I came to Humen, it is a hotel worth recommending

It's OK, but it's a handshake building, the view outside the window is hard to describe, the wash basin is outside, the water splashes all over the floor when washing hands, there is a wash basin outside the bathroom door, it's a bit stuck when coming out. There is no place to hang clothes in the bathroom, I feel that the details in this aspect are not good enough. For breakfast, I feel that there are not many varieties.

As an old hotel with a history, its main focus is its cost-effectiveness. Let’s talk about its shortcomings first: Needless to say, the room facilities are a bit old. The first is that the sound insulation is slightly poor. You can hear clearly when the guest next door opens and closes the door when returning to the room at night. The second is that the room does not have a 24-hour power outlet. , it shouldn’t be difficult for the hotel to improve this small detail. Now let’s talk about its advantages: the parking lot is large, the parking spaces are sufficient, the appearance is grand, the lobby is grand, and the reception at the hotel’s front desk is good; the location is good, only about ten minutes’ walk from the clothing city and commercial street; mattress The softness and firmness are moderate, the support is good, and it is quite comfortable to sleep. Each coupon for the free breakfast can be used to order five breakfasts at the seafood restaurant on the first floor. You have to sit in a fixed guest seat (please refer to the accompanying picture). By the way, there is only one male seat in the restaurant. The minister seemed to have a very average attitude toward hotel guests and suggested that the hotel improve its training. After all, everyone who comes here is a guest. Based on all the information mentioned above, I feel that Mingyuan Hotel is very cost-effective and recommended.
