Fantastic spot, hotel excellent,service very good and food was delicious. Overall experience was top , highly recommend this place and the town.

I stayed here on the 1st of September for 5days the hotel is very well managed by Breda she done the check in she was pleasant friendly and informative the room was very spacious and spotless l was in room 170 the breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection by Vanentina Mai was the waitress she was nice and friendly dinner was really nice lots of choices and lovely presentation all staff are very helpful and friendly the hotel has live music a few times a week the shops are right outside the hotel also an ATM which is handy l would highly recommend this hotel to others you will not be disappointed perfect in every way .thank you.

Great location! Located in the heart of town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. My only complaint about the room is the quality of the pillows. They are extremely firm which prevented a restful sleep. The hotel does not have a designated parking lot, unfortunately. Guests are to park in a public parking lot nearby. The cost is only 3.30/day. Unfortunately, many people are coming in and out of the spaces while visiting the town. Be careful where you park in the lot. Our car was damaged as someone hit our rental car and broke the rear taillight. They did not leave a note. Be careful.

Brilliant Hotel. As it was our Anniversary they upgraded us to the Bridal Suite. Plus flowers and bubbly as a welcome gift. Staff efficient and very helpful. Great food and spotless rooms.

Due to a recent experience we had at this hotel and false information on departure followed by a complete lack of response from the staff we have felt pushed to write this. One of our guests was denied access to the hotel entirely and ended up having to sleep in their car. Yes – you read that right. In their car. After paying for a room. They were told as they didn't have the physical key in their hand they would not be allowed into the hotel (one physical key per room). Despite their name being listed on the night porters guest list which he could have provided ID to prove his identity he was still denied access and given no choice but to sleep in a friend’s car until the morning. Thank God we had a car! Or they would have had to sleep on the streets. The other guest in that room was then up all night worried about where they were waiting for them to knock on the door to get in and couldn’t get in contact with them to the morning. It gets worse – our room key opened another guest’s room. Imagine walking into someone else’s room because your key magically works for it. Massive security breach, completely unacceptable, and honestly dangerous. This hotel clearly has no regard for guest safety or privacy. At the time we made a genuine mistake in misreading the numbers on the doors in which we then opened a guest’s room using our key, we were met with a very unhappy guest (rightly so) as we had gone to the wrong room ours was next door. We apologised to these guests for the mistake however were then met with a rude response which made one of our guests feel uncomfortable. The hotel offered us no apology for the room key situation when a receptionist came up and took the key after a complaint from the other guests. We were told the key did in fact open both doors and they would change it and return it. The key was never returned. After 2 hours we went and asked for it. On our departure from the hotel, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the incident that happened with our friend not being allowed access to the hotel. On the day, reception staff were very apologetic, the duty manager at the time also very apologetic and asked thorough questions to us and the guest in question which we were happy to answer. At the time we were told we would receive a full refund for the room, we were happy with this given the severity of the issue and told we would be contacted in a few days. We were only to be met with the offer of a €50 refund (¼ of the value of the stay) which we declined and then received a ½ refund. We contacted the hotel by email about this issue as we were told we would receive the full refund. At first, we got a response, and they asked for a contact number to which we replied, since then it has been silence. We received no more attempts at contact from the hotel; I have emailed again but have received no reply. My sister stayed at the weekend and said that the night porter was basically chasing them around the hotel once they re-entered th
