Had a lovely Sunday lunch with the family Soup served to you for starters which was delicious Crusty roll is already at the table as you are seated It could of been fresher to be honest Asked for gluten free bread for one of our guests Then had to ask for a separate butter to prevent cross contamination Starter selection is beautiful from boiled eggs pesto pasta fresh melon ribs self service For gluten free not as big a choice Melon and pineapple were good though Went then for the main course a lot to choose from Lamb Salmon Roast Beef well done or medium Turkey Ham Mash roasties garlics stuffing vegetable choice was carrots Cabbage with bacon Gravy pepper sauce Yorkshire puddings I went for the well done roast beef Was very tough but all the trimmings were delicious Yorkshire puddings and stuffing are not suitable for gluten free Desert choices were massive From icecream crepes triffle apple crumble chocolate cakes cheesecakes cheese board and many many more to choose from Delighted to see a separate gluten free desert table Tea or coffee served to your table Background music would be a nice bonus to the background Watched a young waiter clear a large round window table beside us and was shocked he used the drinks menu to scatter the crumbs from previous customers to the floor and chairs before resetting the table Surely it would be easier to scoop these into a little pan or container and would look way better Lovely grounds after for a walk about and some lovely people to talk with €45 per adult

We had the pleasure in returning to this esquisite hotel for a summer wedding. Again we were so delighted that the quality, professionalism, hospitality, comfort, friendly environment and luxurious surroundings had remained the same, definitely a most enjoyable experience that we would recommend greatly.

Harvey's Point was one of the best Irish hotel experiences my family and I ever had. From the moment we entered we knew this hotel is special. The staff made us feel so welcome. And the suites are incredible - just built for comfort . But it's the little touches like fresh-baked cookies and milk in the room, or real pancakes cooked to order at breakfast, that just show this hotel puts the guest experience first. We will definitely be staying again.

We stayed at Harvey’s Point Hotel for two nights, and from start to finish it was absolutely glorious. Everything about our experience exceeded expectations — from the breathtaking setting to the warm, attentive service. Our room was nothing short of spectacular: incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and filled with lavish features that made it feel truly indulgent. It was the perfect place to relax after exploring the stunning surroundings. We dined in their fine dining restaurant on both nights, and each meal was an unforgettable experience. Geraldine was simply amazing — attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming — as was the host on both evenings. Their service made our dining feel even more special. The food itself was outstanding: perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. We also enjoyed a casual lunch in one of their other restaurants, and it was just as delightful — high-quality dishes served in a relaxed atmosphere. Harvey’s Point is the kind of place that makes you feel both completely at home and thoroughly spoiled. We left feeling refreshed, impressed, and already planning our next visit.

This was our second stay at Harvey’s Point, and I’ll admit I was a little worried - our first visit had been so perfect that I thought it might be hard to match. I needn’t have worried; this visit was once again beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and instantly felt at home. We were delighted to be allocated the same room we’d enjoyed on our first stay. The rooms here are exceptional - spacious, beautifully furnished, and luxuriously comfortable. Knowing we had such a wonderful room set the tone for our visit before we had even turned the key in the door. The weather was kind to us, so we took full advantage of sitting outside on the terrace of the bar, enjoying a light snack before dinner while soaking in the peacefulness and the stunning views of Lough Eske. Dinner in the restaurant that evening was exceptional — every bit as good, if not better, than we remembered. The staff are attentive, warm, and their service is flawless. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to book a second night on the spot. After dinner, we retired to the bar for a nightcap, though the delicious meal had left us in such a pleasant “food coma” that we could barely finish our drinks! Breakfast was another highlight - a generous selection of fresh, high-quality dishes that catered for every taste. When it came time to leave, we were genuinely reluctant to go. Every member of staff we encountered during our stay was friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about making guests feel special. We left feeling thoroughly spoiled and already counting the days until our next visit.

I had been meaning to post this review since our stay towards the end of May 2025. My heart rate actually slowed a few beats just minutes after check in. What a wonderfully relaxing experience to know you are in the hands of professionals that care about your stay in their magnificent hotel. From start to finish the short stay of 3 nights was beyond words. Front of house we were greeted by Eamonn , an exceptional ambassador for this Donegal oasis. Eamonn has an eye for detail and strives to enhance the stay of every guest. If he was the owner I would say I am not surprised because his dedication to every guest that I saw him interact with was like the personal service of an owner. In the fine dining restaurant the lady attending our table had an incredible knowledge of the dishes available and walked us through every option in detail , which was very helpful because my wife struggles to choose from so many wonderful dishes available. Turns out the lady is actually married to the head chef! She was wonderful. Food. 10/10 Service 11/10. Ambience and relaxation 12/10, what can I say , this is a special place. Rooms are fab, staff are amazing and this is a fantastic place to drop out and let professionals pamper you. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.
