Schitterend hotel in een schitterende streek . De kamers zijn ruim en aangenaam. Vooral het zicht ook. Zeer goed restaurant zowel voor het diner als het ontbijt. We konden buiten eten in een aangename omgeving . Uitstekende bediening met vriendelijk personeel. Kortom een aanrader. Un hôtel magnifique dans une région magnifique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, surtout la vue. Le restaurant est excellent pour le dîner et le petit-déjeuner. Nous avons pu dîner en terrasse dans un cadre agréable. Le service est excellent et le personnel sympathique. En bref, à recommander vivement.

Es ist eine weltweit geltende Regel, auch in Frankreich, dass der Übernachtungsgast die Möglichkeit erhält sein Abendessen im hoteleigenen Restaurant einzunehmen. Leider nicht so in diesem Hotel. Unsere Anfrage per Email wurde nicht beantwortet. Bei unserer münlichen Anfrage während des Eincheckens wurde die Tür zugezogen und wir wurden auch nicht beim Einchecken gefragt ob wir ein Frühstück im Hotel wollten. Ein weiterer Hinweis: Das Hotel verfügt über keinen Lift, es ist also weder gepäck- noch behinderten gerecht.

This Bastide and Hotel oozes charm. The views of the Dordogne River Valley are to die for and the staff was incredible attentive. Our room had a magnificent view of the river from the 3rd floor. The décor was classic French and the bathroom had been fully updated - awesome rain showerhead. There is no elevator but the property more than compensated. BTW - the chef doesn't have a Michelin star but is recognized as a leading French chef and it shows. Highly recommend this Hotel if you aren't married to large vanilla chains.

Phenomenal location at the edge of a panoramic bastide. Expensive, but very good restaurant in the hotel itself (not always open in mid October). Some good restaurants nearby, but many also not open for dinner in mid October (although open for lunch).

Amazing location on the top of the cliff. It is located in the heart of historical part of Domme. Great view from the hotel but not from our room facing some buildings.

Great place - broken Aircon
Unbelievable views great restaurant, if you use the restaurant book early to get a good table. The time are dated but clean and comfortable. However the Aircon was broken when we stayed which spoiled it stay somewhat
