NOT ADULTS ONLY!! If you are under the impression as we were that this hotel is adults only, have a rethink. Although the all inclusive holiday is not sold to families, it appears there are privately owned apartments that are rented to families. On the 7th night of our stay, children began arriving. On Sunday afternoon, the guests that had paid good money for a romantic relaxing adult holiday endured an afternoon of screaming and splashing children in the pool sending them all back to their rooms as the reception staff were not very engaging with doing anything about it and the Manager was not working and noone else was acting as Duty Manager. Guests were irate and the staff were so relaxed about it that it escalated the situation. The group with the children were asking all inclusive guests to get then free drinks making them feel uncomfortable to say no. This is unacceptable. I made a complaint by email and received a reply 2 days later which was encouraging however I have had no reply since Tuesday. I will be claiming for a full refund for being sold a lie and I have given the hotel the opportunity to rectify the situation before I posted a review. Putting that aside, our intial greeting was terrible at 12.30am after 19 hours travelling with an hours wait being ignored by the staff who were more interested in speaking to the guests already staying. When we checked in, He tried to charge us again for our room! Tired, hungry and frustrated we went to our room to be greeted with a freezing cold room at 16 degrees! Our patio did not lock either. On waking in the morning, we went for breakfast and asked for some more information as we knew nothing! Our opinion greatly changed after this and we had a nice relaxing week but beware, pick your side of the sunbed areas. One side is sooooo loud with aqua aerobics etc and the other side although the music can be heard, is more relaxing and quiter..... until the hotel next door starts their music up in the afternoon and then you get blasted both sides. Take headphones! We had a massage each and the massages were fabulous but the location of them was terrible. There is one therapist and they are carried out in Veranda located next to the sunbed area, on the walkway to the pier and next to the pool! Your relaxing message is accompanied with guest's mobile phone conversations and messgae alerts, loud music and to top it off, workman drilling relentlessly throughout. £100 wasted and I felt sorry for the massage lady putting all her effort in and us walking away stressed. The snorkelling is great and directly accessible from the hotel pool area. Vary varied fish, turtles, rays etc. The pools are great but handpainted inside and so all the paint is peeling off and the steps are not marked very clearly. Food was very good and different most days. It was good quality too. I do think the buffet serving area could be larger as it can be very intimidating for some with the mad rush for food in small area
