So I recently stayed at the Sunscape and must say the stay was enjoyable from dining, to the pool, and beach. I have stayed at many all inclusive and must say I really have no complaints. Yes there are some areas that could use a face lift but I saw crews working diligently to make those renovations. Would I stay there again. Most certainly and the butler we had Jose was absolutely amazing from sun up to sun down.

The Dreams Dominicus La Romana was luxurious and the customer service was superb! Without question, it was our best family vacation. We traveled with two children (ages 11 and 9) and the Grandmother (age 79) and all of us really enjoyed it. I highly recommend paying for the Preferred Club. The preferred club beach area and restaurant were excellent as well as the kids club and Coco Cafe. Armando was our family concierge for the week. He was phenomenal and made our family feel at home from check-in. Armando was very responsive, he promptly scheduled dinner reservations for us and was very helpful assisting us to coordinate transportation arrangements from the airport. Armando even showed up in person to ensure our Spa reservations were made as planned. The Dreams offers quick golf cart transportation to and from the family areas of the resort to the beach and main pool areas. Providing this service was critical for elderly guests. Samuel Nunes from the bell-boy team was exceptional. He always took extra time to help our elderly Grandmother with transportation. My family also took advantage of the Spanish lessons offered by Bella. Bella is an excellent instructor with a great attitude and she really got my wife and kids interested in Spanish throughout the week. The Dreams also distinguished itself in safety of the guests. During our stay, I witnessed a lifeguard (Mr. Cleivi Garcias) dive in and save the life of a drowning minor at the family pool. His actions were simply heroic and gave me the confidence and reassurance I needed traveling with children that we were in a safe environment. We had a spacious family suite with an adjoining room. The rooms were modern and updated and Armando always made sure our bar was well stocked! Thank you, Dreams for an amazing family vacation!

I booked 12 nights here for my wife and I. We both had a great time. The choice restaurants was good. Bookings them via the app was quite straightforward. The beach was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Mariolos. The only negative was booking through TUI. The TUI rep didn't appear for the duration of our stay. The transfer from the airport was badly organised. But I must stress the hotel/resort was fantastic. If you plan to Scuba Dive I would recommend Dressel Divers 200 metres down the beach.

My wife and I asked if we could view the adults only section of this hotel. We are currently staying next door at Dreams Hotel. A young man from the staff gave us a tour and explained the different room grades, showed us restaurants, pools, bars and several other amenities. The grounds and gardens are immaculate with many trees and grass areas wth seating spots dotted around . I have to say that evebody we passed by had smiles on their faces and seemed very happy . The rooms look great and well maintained within different settings, ie garden or main building. This hotel is superb and has class and is everything we would want and we will be booking. We would like to say a massive thank you Catalonia for allowing us to take a look. We had an incredible experience at Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus! The resort's stunning beachfront location, top-notch amenities, and exceptional service truly exceeded my expectations. Appartamento molto grande e dotato di ogni confort, splendida la piscina! tutti i tipi di servizi e la spiaggia sono raggiungibili a piedi. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Francesco che è sempre stato disponibile e ci ha risolto problemi che non riguardavano la stuttura

We had read mixed reviews before we stayed here but did not expect the hotel to be so bad! We checked out 10 days early and moved to another hotel it was that bad. Please don't waste your money on booking this hotel - unless you expect 2 star quality, not 4 star! The staff were rude and didn't care and the food quality and temperature was disgusting. The only good thing was the cleanliness. We had to book for the buffet Christmas Eve as it was the celebration event and had to pay for the wine (never done that before on an All Inclusive). We arrived for our slot and ended up in a queue of about 50 people all holding our plates for what we thought would be a festive feast. The quality of the food was very poor and warm at best. As I hadn't received my pre-ordered bottle of wine, I approached the staff and very politely asked for my wine. One kissed her teeth, rolled her eyes and walked away. The other one said she'd sort it out but when it arrived it was the wrong wine so they said they would get me the one I ordered. When it didn't arrive, I approached a Manager and politely asked for my wine again. He had no idea what he was doing but said he'd sort it out. I then saw a member of staff walking aimlessly around with what I assumed was my bottle of wine. He then returned it to the Manager who put it back in the fridge! I approached the Manager again and said i thought that maybe that was my wine - it was! By that time, I'd eaten my lukewarm dinner and had enough. After another two days of poor food and rude staff, we decided we needed to move to an alternative hotel. When we checked out 10 days early, we were give a form at reception to explain the reason why (obviously happens pretty often) which was then taken to a Supervisor. No-one asked how they could make our stay better or apologised - we just left and got a cab to our new hotel. So if you want a variety of quality food that's hot and tasty and staff that actually smile and are polite, book somewhere else.
