Mooi karakteristiek hotel. Kwaliteit van de materialen in de hotelkamers vind ik echt onder maat. Harde onprettige matrassen. Bureau en stoelen gammel en viezig. Verfwerk op de wanden en kozijnen vies en beschadigd. Lijkt me goed daar meer in te investeren, dat betaald zich terug. Wel fijn dat er een airco was.

We hadden een 3 daags arrangement met een waterpret kamer geboekt. Bij binnekomst bleek een van de twee verduisterings rolgordijnen weg te zijn. De volgende ochtend bleek het douche putje van de wellness douche cabine niet door te lopen. Bij de receptie gevraagd om een andere waterpretkamer. We konden de t****e dag verhuizen naar een andere waterpretkamer. In deze kamer zat er schimmel in de douche cabine, waren er twee barsten in de buitenramen van de kamer, waren de nachtkastjes gedateerd en beschadigd, was er niet goed schoongemaakt daar er nog stof lag op verschillende plekken in de kamer na de schoonmaak, waren de voegranden rond het bad losgelaten, zat de afdicht***** van de douche cabine los. Je mag toch wel meer verwachten van een 4 sterren hotel waar je veel geld betaald voor je verblijf. Deze klachten gemeld bij het vertrek maar er werd erg laconiek mee omgegaan hadden we het gevoel. Tevens vraag ik me af of de kamers wel periodiek worden gecontroleerd, daar de genoemde gebreken niet in een paar dagen ontstaan kunnen zijn. Erge vergane glorie en achterstallig onderhoud. Om met en positieve noot af te sluitne ons arrangement bestond ook uit eenmaal diner en eenmaal proeverij in het Restaurant Lokaal dit was werkelijk subliem. alles met zorg bereid en erg smakelijk. dit was nog een doekje voor het bloeden.
