TownePlace Suites Dodge City

Incredible hotel. Everything's new. My business partner came thru town for an event and had almost too much room. Its basically a 2br apartment, complete with stove, 2 separate suites with their own bathrooms, a living room, etc. Comfortable beds, clean sheets, newer TVs, HBO included: they have everything you could possibly need for a comfortable night's stay. 10/10, would recommend.

We pulled in late at night and left pretty early in the morning...so not a lot of sight seeing this trip. I'm an avid Marriott sleeper and this TownePlace Suites lived up to the Marriott brand in most of its ways. It was a little exciting pulling in into the snow ridden driveway and hopping out into the crisp cool air to walk into the lobby. Keep in mind Dodge City can drop to the negative Fahrenheit numbers this time of year and we were at -3 degrees. It was also fun to tell everyone we were staying on Wyatt Earp Blvd. The lobby was clean and most of the room was clean as well. upon pulling my sheets back i felt the sheets had not been changed...not normal for any Marriott branded hotel. The sheets didn't appear to be dirty but grossly streched out as if someone had been sleeping in them or at least on top of the bed. I didn't complain, it was past 11pm, but I did sleep on top of the covers this night. almost always Marriotts have movie channels and generally HBO but their was network problems and those channels were not working.

My husband and I visited Dodge City for the weekend to get away. We had never stayed here, but definately will when we come back. The staff is amazing so kind and helpful. Breakfast had lots of options. Room was clean and comfortable. Great stay!

I stayed here 2 years ago and this hotel has changed for the better since then. Clean quiet room. Great hot breakfast. Awesome staff! Friendly and helpful! Great stay! Best hotel in Dodge City! Will definitely stay next time I’m back in Dodge City

Front desk personnel were great. Room and hotel itself need help. Room had a very strong smell. Like pet odor and someone tried to overpower it with strong cleaner. Furniture is very worn. No bar soap at bathroom sink, no shampoo in shower, no suitcase rack, no plastic bag in closet, used blanket on couch before we’d sit on it, phone didn’t work, tv internet was awful. Front desk said it’s not worked right since some storm came through. I stay at Marriott to be able to watch Netflix etc. Could not do it. Very few tv channels came in.

We spent one night here recently. Our room was spacious and very comfortably furnished, with a small kitchen with a full size fridge. We wanted a swim after a long, hot day in the car and waited until the kids cleared out before heading to the pool. Had a nice swim. On my way out I noticed feathers around one of the caps for a filter and opened it. Dead pigeon inside. The pool was very full of water and this made me wonder if the filters were clogged with??? Aside from one dead bird, our stay was great.

The hotel staff is friendly and it is pretty quiet. It does need some TLC and is not clean. We are trying to not touch anything in the room. But, I know they are probably short handed so will give them a break. It is in a good location and was close to everything.

We always stay at Marriott but this one needs some major TLC. It’s rundown and dirty. Fold out sofa was full of food from a past guest. Sheets had holes in them. The breakfast was dismissal. There were mixed cereals in the cereal dispenser, no maple syrup, no toast/ bagels. Garbage cans were overflowing.
