Hotel Tschurtschenthaler

Siamo stati seconda settimana di ottobre io e mio marito, e abbiamo passato una settimana splendida, l'hotel è cu rarissimo, il personale gentilissimo, la ragazza delle colazioni e la ragazza in sala per cena,la Signora, la titolare davvero cortese e gentilissima, colazione eccezionale e cena uguale, piatti tipici e per finire la Spa veramente di livello superiore, dalla provincia di Rimini grazie di cuore a voi

Trotz verbindlicher Buchungsbestätigung, mit dem Vermerk: "Die Bezahlung erfolgt in der Unterkunft direkt vor Ort, der gesamte Betrag muss in der Unterkunft beglichen werden", wurde das Zimmer anderweitig vergeben. Bei Ankunft im Hotel wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Zimmer vergeben wurde, da wir keine Anzahlung geleistet haben. Ein H o h n diese Aussage, wahrscheinlich wurde jetzt im August das dreifache für das Zimmer kassiert, als zu dem Zeitpunkt unserer Buchung. Also aufpassen !!!!!!!

A due passi dalla piazza di Dobbiaco. Hotel di costruzione non recentissima ma le camere sono spaziose e molto pulite. Buona la colazione a buffet con bevande servite e non prese dalle macchinette come purtroppo sempre più spesso succede. Noi abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione e la cena è sempre ricca e varia con anche un buon buffet di verdure. È presente anche una piscina con spa ma purtroppo siamo rimasti pochi giorni e non ne abbiamo usufruito. Ma il punto forte dell’hotel è la gentilezza e disponibilità della proprietaria e di tutto il personale. Ci siamo veramente sentiti a casa e se sceglieremo ancora Dobbiaco come meta per le nostre vacanze, sicuramente torneremo in questo hotel

The hotel is located practically in the center of Dobbiaco, but also close to the slopes. In front of the structure there is a bus stop that takes you comfortably to Lake Braies even in less time than it would take by car and in total safety. Furthermore, the hotel offers a free pass valid for one week to travel by public transport to the entire area: well done. Before accessing, I asked for a bottle of wine to be found in the rooms as it was my girlfriend's birthday and it was so, also providing me with a splendid accommodation overlooking the mountains. Breakfast is varied, plentiful and with the possibility of having freshly prepared hot drinks. Parking is very convenient and the staff are exquisite. I can't wait to go back.

We were supposed to participate in the Dobbiaco winter night run, and stay at the Hotel Tschurtschenthaler, which turned our joy into a complete disaster. No race, no stay, lots of bitterness and fear. From the moment of our arrival around midday, we felt a total lack of courtesy and availability on the part of the manager, making it immediately clear that we would not be welcome, who informed us that (despite our booking made a few months before our stay) decided to assign our room to other customers, so he moved us to Villa Bassa, about 2 km from the property, in an apartment (without mentioning costs and services included/excluded and without taking into account the difficulty of having to use the car every time to get to the centre). We oppose it, and this is the genesis of the disaster. He sends us away in a bad way, making us return later, at check-in time. From that moment on, the manager's attitude became extremely rude, not at all professional and at times even very violent, but despite this she assigned us the room. As soon as we took possession of the room, we realized that our daughter's bed had not yet been made up. We immediately brought this to the attention of the manager who entered the room like a fury with the sheets and pillows and started to rant and scream, scaring my wife and my daughter, who was pushed by the manager who, not stopping screaming even in German, had to prepare the bed. At this point, given the level of degeneration I had reached, I pointed out to the manager that I no longer intended to stay where I was anything but welcome and that I was starting to get scared, but she always threatened me by shouting to make me pay for the room if we were gone. I was forced to call the Carabinieri who immediately intervened and managed to mediate the difficult situation and therefore the manager and the owner (the manager's mother) let us go without having to pay for an unused service. Not only was our holiday ruined by the improbably bad service and the out-of-bounds attitude of the facility manager, but we also suffered biological damage due to the stress and frustration caused by this surreal experience, and we don't rule it out to take legal action against the facility. Final notes: the structure is dated but centrally located, which is the reason for our choice. The room seemed recently renovated and equipped with the minimum necessary comforts, albeit with some defects (dirty bathroom, missing towels and used toilet paper). Overall just enough.

It's a shame that the week of good weather didn't allow us to take advantage of the spa. However, the hotel is discreet, the rooms are quite comfortable, the owners and staff are very kind. There were some flaws in the breakfast and the buffet which were not replenished when necessary. Free parking but with insufficient spaces when the hotel is full However, quite satisfied.

Excellent accommodation! This hotel in beautiful Toblach offers the perfect overall package. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, especially the owner Marlies. Breakfast and dinner are varied and very tasty. The rooms with the newly designed bathrooms are also worth mentioning. The family atmosphere in this traditional business and the excellent location particularly impressed us. We will definitely come back!
