My family and I came for a weekend stay. We ate at fiddlers on the first night. The food was overpriced and didn’t taste good. I asked for blackened chicken on my Alfredo and ended up getting COLD chicken without seasoning. Additionally I was charged for the blackening that wasn’t present on my food! My son and husbands meals were also cold. Service was ok ah best. At the resort, we liked our accommodations at first. However after the first night we woke up with bites all over us and noticed stains on the mattress (I would assume from bugs). We quickly gathered our items and left. Also, while the love music is nice, it’s impossible to sleep with it playing. Music stops around 2 am.

The ground fault electrical outlet In the bathroom did not work for my wife’s hair dryer. The refrigerator had a buildup of water inside of it.

I guess if you are there to charter fish it's okay but just to stay in Steinhatchee it is little to be desired!

With the hurricane they are rebuilding so some construction. Overall a nice cozy place for a night or two.
