Hotels with Breakfast in Divonne-les-Bains

Stayed at L'Oree du Parc in Divonne-les-Bains for three nights in March 2022, deciding to book one of their small apartments. This is larger than their standard Studio, having a separate bedroom and a lounge/dining room with a sofa which would convert into a single or double bed if necessary. For two people we had plenty of space. Cleanliness on arrival was excellent and the overall condition of the apartment was also very good with only a few small signs of wear-and-tear which were really unnoticeable. The kitchenette facilities were fine for preparing breakfast but we didn't use them for cooking any meals. I'm sure the hob and microwave would be adequate for preparing a small meal if you wanted to eat in. My only minor comment would be the curtains in the bedroom should be thicker than the net provided, since there aren't shutters. This meant the outside lights shone into the bedroom at night, but really I didn't lose any sleep due to this. We would certainly stay here again, as proven by the fact this was already our second visit.

The hotel was really good, exceeding our expectations. It is still a grand hotel, designed in the 20’s and 30’s in an art deco style, with the building and furniture showing some art nouveau, Bauhaus and Viennese furniture design elements. The public areas and rooms are therefore really interesting. It is well maintained, clean ( a few small areas could be cleaner), with practical friendly staff. We did not eat there as the breakfast was a bit over our budget at 22 SF per person and the restaurants were closed. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room rate was very reasonable. We would definitely return.

I don't know which Munchhausen wrote the hotel descriptions. In any case, that one had smoked more than a joint. I don't know where to start. The entrance was dirty, sticked and unpleasant. Unfortunately, I cannot walk through walls and I had to reach the door to open them. That was the first overcome for the night here. The next horror was the right lift. Here the mirror was smiled with some sabber, there come up all the fantasies that you really don't want to see. Then then the battle hit me at the 3rd floor. Like Jesus I can't go over water. I'd been right here. I'm now mid-50 but I can tell you that I never saw a dirty tape floor before. It was black, brown, bright brown-ach something just foolish. After all these horrors we arrived in the room. Well. Don't expect anything, then you can't be disappointed. The only thing I can consider here is that the bed and towels were clean. In short, who books a room here is the blame of himself. My review is - 5!!!

Excellent accueil! La Résidence est très bien placée, à 2 pas du centre-ville, du Lac de Divonne, et à quelques kms des pistes... Le personnel est d'une gentillesse... les espaces communs, les appartements sont très propres. Nous avions un duplex, literie excellente (très important...)! Les petits - : la SDB est exigue et a besoin d'être rénovée, il manque un petit four dans la cuisine... Mais ce sont des détails...

Excellent... que dire de plus ? J'ai été bien accueilli Ma chambre était bien... bon lit, bonne SdB, TV, bouilloire, thé/café, eau minérale, prix raisonnable... Un souhait ? Je n'ai pas besoin d'un petit déjeuner copieux... un mini-petit déjeuner genre café -croissant-jus de fruits à +/- EUR 5,00 aurait été un plus... mais là, je chipote !
