Nangijala Hostel

Nasty Place! Looked so nice from the outside. We parked and went in. Big mistake! My girl ordered mozzarella sticks, nachos and I a large nacho plate. The food was decent, the place was worn out but nice. The problem was that there were flies just about everywhere, on you when you ate, on the food, IN THE FOOD!! i.e. in what you put in your mouth. On the walls, on the furniture, on and in my clothes. Disgusting. My girl left her nachos and ate two mozzarella sticks. I left all my food. Tried to explain the situation to the young girl working. She couldn't care less. Her answer was that "We have a lot of flies here, nothing to do about it" and charged for ALL the food, even the one I didn't touch. 59 CHF down the drain. Disgraceful. So my advice is to eat here if you like flies and half-descent food.

Lovely rooms in the guest house right next to a small river. The guesthouse is right next to the bar and restaurant. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast sucks, not only due to the bad mood of the staff but also because of many flies all over the food…
