We booked this hotel mainly for the beautiful scenery and adorable animals! A pity that we didn’t get to explore outside much due to the rainy weather but the view was still lovely. We were offered a free room upgrade to one with a balcony, which was such a nice gesture. The staffs were friendly and helped carry our luggage up to the room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were also served with warm yak milk at night which was such a comforting treat especially with the chilly weather. Also, the hotel is very near to the railway station and airport.

Strongly recommend this guesthouse. Car park: Super easy to park your car as they have a spacious car park space across the street. Cleanness: Room is very new and clean. They prepared disposable towel and bathtub cover as well. Super considerate. Service: very friendly and thoughtful staff. Common area is spacious and thoughtfully designed too. Last but not least, their heating and water pressure is super good which is very important at such cold and high altitude location.

We love the big clean spacious room with nice view. The room is so big that we can fully open 2 big luggages and still have plenty of space. Located in the heart of the old city, with many shops and restaurants around. The bed is very comfortable, and they provided oxygen machine and humidifier, which are great for high-altitude stay. There is a sofa in the room, too. The operator is very friendly and helpful. He even woke up early to send us to the main road as it will be challenging to lug our luggages along the uneven ancient road. Will stay at this hotel again if we come back to Shangri-La. Exceptional Stay at LAN YU Plateau Section Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at LAN YU Plateau Section Hotel, and my experience was nothing short of outstanding. I was afraid that there would be no room for the king-size bed room I booked, but the owner upgraded it to a small duplex. The owner's wife was also very enthusiastic and attentive. There was also a cute little dog named Doudou. The experience was very, very good. The hotel also prepared disposable bath towels, which was very thoughtful.

During my stay in Shangri-La, I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel located just a short walk from the ancient city. The location was perfect—quiet yet close enough to easily explore the old town and all its charm. What really stood out to me was the staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, whether it was giving directions or offering local recommendations. Their warm attitude made me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. After long days of sightseeing, it was a relief to come back to such a peaceful and tidy space. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the calm atmosphere throughout the hotel. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shangri-La.

Highly recommended this homestay. The room is tastefully designed , spacious and comfortable. It even has a smart toilet. Felt like home away from home. The owner, wife and their son are all very helpful, helping us arrange our trip, transportation etc. They will make sure that you got a good deal and give good advice on planning our trip. It is also at a very convenient location to visit other attraction areas, shops and restaurants. We extended another day after a five night stay because we love the place too much and we wanted to have a relaxing day just to fully enjoy the place. The owner upgraded us to an even bigger room with a view to the temple at Guishan park. The owner also picked us up from the Dukezong Ancient town when we arrived and got up early to send us to the train station when we checked out. Best homestay we had this far. 非常推荐这个客棧.老板和家人都非常親切,给予我们的旅程很好的建议和幫助. 房间很舒适宽敞, 还有智能厕所. 老板除了在我们低达时在古鎮附近接我们,还在我们退房后特意早起送我们去火车站. 客棧也很方便, 附近有便利店,商店和不錯的餐厅,也很方便去附近的景点.房间和房的廊庁也可以看见大佛寺.

We had a great 2 nights stay in this hotel. Our room is 205 it had a big window and the view is overlooking parts of the mountains. Outstanding! We love it so much! Fellow Malaysians I recommend you this hotel. Walking distance to old town and halal restaurants are easy to find on the way. I would like to express my gratitude to all the hotel staffs. They were really amazing and help us a lot during our stay. We felt so touch by their kind action. A nice guy staff even help us do the laundry. A nice beautiful lady Xian walk with us to show us halal yak’s meat restaurant and later bring us to the e-bike rental place. Xian also helps to call and arrange with our hotel in Lijiang. We practically asked her for help with everything 😆. During our stay in Shangri-la we went skiing at Shangri-la ski park and Napahai valley the next day.The hotel provide pickup and drop off service to the train station which we find it so convenient. Breakfast also nice i love the steamed Mantau. All hotels staff always smiling at us and we felt so welcome. Hotel room was clean and big and had nice view. We also had time for photo-shoot with the display costume at the lobby for free. Please choose this hotel you wont regret i promise you ❤️

Absolutely loved our stay here! The service was top-notch — we got free pickup and drop-off at the railway station, and even free rides into town whenever we needed. Complimentary drinks were provided for both of us, which was such a nice touch. The place was super clean — honestly, spotless! And the location couldn’t be better. It's right near Heido Cafe, and hotel guests even get free drinks there too. Total bonus! We were also surrounded by the cutest, friendliest animals — it really added to the peaceful vibe. Plus, there were so many amazing photo spots; every corner was Insta-worthy! One big plus: the staff can speak English really well, so communication was smooth and easy the whole time. Overall, highly, highly recommended! You should definitely stay for at least 3 days and 2 nights — one night just isn’t enough to take in the view and soak up the serenity. So, so satisfying!

The hotel is located outside Dukezong Ancient Town. I think the location is very good, with a more comfortable environment, parking and taxi are more convenient. The boss and the boss lady are very enthusiastic. It is a pity that I didn't see Meili Snow Mountain when I came to Shangri-La this time. I will definitely stay here next time to make up for the regret. Free pick-up or drop-off once, check-in dessert, good night milk, etc. are all very good.
