As part of a two-day bike tour, five of us stayed at the Landhotel Galland. At the end of the first day of the tour, we treated ourselves to a good time in the beautifully situated beer garden. Very friendly, attentive service, good food and cold drinks, as well as a flexible kitchen team when it came to late-night meal requests rounded off a lovely summer day. The rooms were functionally furnished, nice and cool at night, and everything was spotlessly clean. The furniture in our rooms was not the most modern, but everything seemed well-kept and was perfectly adequate. The breakfast was fine. We felt at home at the Landhotel Galland and were very well looked after. A clear recommendation!

We were happy to book, but after our last stay, the hotel is no longer an option for us. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are so-so. Some have mold. The toothbrush cups are still disposable plastic cups. The shampoo and shower gel/soap are also packaged in small plastic bags. Not very environmentally friendly and things are definitely different these days. The night entrance is full of all the insects and animals that the Hiesfelder field has to offer. It's reminiscent of a jungle camp test. Anyone who gets through here unscathed and without a side of protein on their face is really lucky. The highlight was that we were literally thrown out on Sunday morning. We came down for breakfast at 9:50 a.m. and were told that breakfast was only served until 10 a.m. and that they hadn't expected us and were clearing away. According to the window outside, breakfast for hotel guests is served until 10:30 a.m. We won't be coming back for the time being. What a shame!

We had reserved a room for a small celebration with 14 people and some of us stayed overnight. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The shortened menu offered seasonal dishes, the food was very good and the prices moderate. The comfort rooms were spacious and adequately equipped. The only disadvantage: no refrigerator - but they are still to be installed. The location is a bit out of the way - but very quiet (except when a group was loud like the night before). In summary: a pleasant stay, would definitely go back and recommendable
