We checked in yesterday (02 Jan 2024) for 2 nights stay. The hotel seems to be fanciful but breakfast is priced very expensively at 21€. We wanted to try this new concept of the Accor group anyway so why not? The room was in general clean but to my horror, upon lifting up the toilet bowl cover, I was greeted with a toilet bowl full of yellowish piss that had not been flushed away. That meant that the toilet was never ever cleaned before releasing for next guest.. or the housekeeping took a convenient piss before leaving and forgetting to flush. Anyway, it could be a genuine mistake so let's not make a fuss at this moment. But I was disappointed to see that there was hardly any amenities in the room. No tea or coffee bags with water boiler. There was only a packet of drinking water in the minibar. It turned out that the water was not even replenished the next day. What was funny: there is a sticker on the minibar door that indicates vending machine available on ground floor. But it could not be found. When we asked the receptionist, we were told that the vending machine is still yet to be installed ??!?!? And suggested to us to go to their restaurant bar to order water or drinks instead. No way ! I am not going to pay for pricey drinking water or tea from their restaurant. Not mentioning that the service charge we will have to pay for getting drinking water there. For a hotel at this tariff, I expected at least to have the basic water, teabags and coffee bags available and replenished! At least most of the basic hotels in France offer this. Some hotels would even offered a coffee machine with capsules. It makes us started to look around the room with a more critical eye. Indeed not only drinking water and basic beverages are not offered. There was only a small bar of handsoap and a miserable piece of body soap placed in the shower to be shared by two occupants of the room. Not only that, the next day after housekeeping, the body soap was not replenished at all. We came back into the room to see the previous bar of soap lying there miserably. This is not what we expected from an Accor hotel which is usually a brand we feel confident in. Mama Shelter tries to be hip and fanciful in their loud decor but in real fact is lacking in hospitality by trying their best to save up whatever they can from the basic necessities (soap, drinking water...) Definitely I will not ever stay in this chain ever again. I sincerely hope Accor group will review and see if it fits their usual standards, because I surely don't think so.

The hotel is located in the old town of Dijon, very close to Galeries Lafayette. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are large. The hotel restaurant is 2 stars in Michelin, a small dozen tables. Very sorry that I didn't book in advance and missed it. However, there are many restaurants within a minute's walk around. Special snails and red wine beef face meat are worth trying. mustard roast chicken is especially recommended.

Dijon Old Town
We always choose Accor Hotels because they not only allow dogs, but positively welcome them. The Ibis Styles Dijon Central was no different. The hotel also has an excellent location for exploring the beautiful city of Dijon. Every member of staff we met was friendly, and we would definitely stay there again. For the convenience, cleanliness and friendliness, this hotel is fantastic value.

It's an absolutely beautiful hotel in a gorgeous city. The room was clean, comfortable, well equipped etc. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. But.... it's one of those hotels where they've not sorted the door closers so every door slams loudly. There's a galley kitchen in the room, but the passive-aggressive instructions say if you use it you have to clean it and remove your own waste, or pay extra to have that done for you. I'd also challenge their claim of soundproofed rooms. The somewhat amorous couple in the next room appeared intent on proving they weren't soundproofed... Breakfast was good, once we realised there were two rooms - one with a much better selection than the first we'd entered. The breakfast staff clearly didn't want to be there and a cheery bonjour just received a scowl. This place could so easily be a 5 with a few tweaks.

We really liked the hotel. Spotless, friendly and helpful staff, a quiet and spacious room, good bathroom, central location, reasonable price, in a beautiful town with very good good. Breakfast was fine; but maybe add scrambled eggs to the menu?

Dijon Old Town
Absolutely amazing! On the small road in the old town, it is very easy to find. It is an old house with a history of three hundred years, and the red door is very eye-catching. A total of four rooms, we lived in Room 3, very spacious, is a suite, 2 large and 1 small, the sofa bed in the living room and very comfortable. Although the appearance of the old house is very historical, the interior decoration is very new and modern, with a spa bath, separate toilet and bathroom. There is also a swimming pool that can be used, which is great. The owner has a dog and a cat, very cute, breakfast is also very good, is the high-end B&B, there is a large floor-standing bookshelf on the side of the stairs, you can freely read, but unfortunately all French-based, can only look at the picture The atmosphere is very good, quiet and tidy. When leaving, the owner knew that we were going to catch the train and sent a few bottles of water to us. Because it is an old house, there is no elevator, the luggage needs to be taken by myself, the owner will help, but it is an old couple, I am really embarrassed.
