Room was filthy and mattress was completely shot. This was like trying to sleep in a bowl. Bad oder in room to top it all off.

Checked in and found the room in disrepair. See pictures attached. The bathroom had peeling paint and mold on the ceiling. The floor hadn’t been finished behind the door and the door was full of dirty hand prints. The main baseboards looked like they had been ripped off and put back. The bedside lamps would not stay in the position we wanted. When trying to adjust them, a large picture hanging over the bed fell. Looking for an outlet near the bed for a CPAP machine and the headboard fell off the wall. The front door was also full of dirty hand prints and the deadbolt lock was missing. I had requested another room but was told they were fully booked for the night. Upon checking their website afterwards, it had shown that there were rooms available. The only good thing was the comfortable bed and pillow. Very disappointing and not worth the almost $200/night. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay in Digby.

Does what it says! A base for the night with clean but basic rooms. Staff and management try hard to make this a good experience and we had no complaints. Not luxurious but good enough. Basic but free toast, cereal and bagels which was nice. Lots of food options nearby.

Standard motel type accomodation with decent size room and easy parking. Staff very helpful - receptionist contacted our whale trip for us. Breakfast fine just fairly basic help yourself with yogurt, toast etc. Very convenient location for Digby neck.

The room was very clean, the bathroom had many commodities, lovely towels. The room was quiet, dark, good for resting. Everything worked well. Good location to everything Digby had to offer, lovely staff especially front desk Melissa. Complimentary breakfast was much appreciated. The only complaint I have was the mattress was on the hard side with coils digging in my sides but over all I would recommend this motel. Thank you.

Was our 2nd time staying here. Staff were friendly bathroom and furniture were clean. We had a problem with our TV which was attended to promptly. My only 2 complaints were the ac didn't get cold enough so the room was too warm and the floors were so dirty when you kicked off your shoes your feet got black. Otherwise a good experience.

The receptionist was surprised we were staying for more than one night and I can see why. It is basic and mostly clean. My main issues were the fact that the front door barely locked and the brown bed sheets. The complimentary continental breakfast is very minimal but I guess decent for the price of the room.

We had room 6 which was a smoking room. I understand that smoking rooms will have a smoke smell of course but I think that they should air the room out before guests arrive. Hotel staff were friendly. Disappointed that the restaurant was not open Saturday past 7 and not at all on Sunday. Our room the shower was broken, the hair dryer holder was broken as well as the sink dropped the whole night. The only other thing I would suggest is moving the reading lights from above the bed to either side. I was also not impressed that the cleaning lady entered our room even though we did not put the sign to clean on the door. Then only took 1 garbage bag, never made beds, changed out towels etc.
