Dit gebouw is het niet waardig om 'hotel' te heten. Het gebouw is vervallen en staat grotendeels al jaren leeg. Ik voelde me er onveilig omdat ik me door schaars verlichte gangen moest begeven; de scha**** verlichting ging pas aan als je naderbij kwam. De gangen waren hoekig en van de onbewoonbare kamers stonden ramen en deuren op een kier, en ik had het gevoel dat er elk moment een onaangename persoon uit de onbewoonde kamer zou kunnen springen. Echt spooky, alsof ik in film 'the Shining' terecht was gekomen. Op de website adverteren ze met de valse tekst "Een uniek hotel in het centrum van Diest... biedt alle grootsheid van een klassiek 19de eeuwse guesthouse aan". De ontvangst was zielloos (op deur hangt briefje met telfnr dat je moet bellen ) en de inkom verveloos en vol met oude sloopmaterialen (zie foto's). Er is geen personeel en geen café/restaurant. Dit had ik zo niet verwacht omdat het op hun website zo mooi wordt presenteerd. Zodra ik mijn kamer binnentrad, bleek die ruime kamer zelf wél piekfijn in orde te zijn. Gelukkig! Maar ik vind dat de eigenaar zijn kamers niet als 'hotel' mag adverteren. Na aankomst heb ik de eigenaar gebeld en mijn beklag gedaan, maar die was daar niet ontvankelijk voor. Zijn commentaar was "dat doe ik al 20 jaar zo". Daarop heb ik hem dringend aangeraden om dan zijn website aan te passen!

Geen koelkast aanwezig kamer 110 en zeer slechte matrassen en kussens, pover tv progammaaantal hoog tijd voor renovatie de vraag zou voor 1 matras ipv 2. Beter gesteld worden

Bij ontvangst kreeg ik een kamer met een beslapen bed. Die kon gelukkig worden geruild. De kamers waren allebei erg warm (28-30°) en konden niet worden gekoeld. Een raam kwam uit op een inpandige serre waar de zon vol op stond, daar was het nog heter. Er stond een dakraam open in de badkamer, dat was het. De muggen kenden die route ook dus werd ik veel gestoken. Slapen onder een laken was al te benauwd. De volgende dag bleek het bestelde en betaalde lunchpakket niet aanwezig, omdat de eigenaar het ’niet in het systeem had gezet’. Na wat aandringen kon ik zelf gaan smeren met restanten van gasten die al vertrokken waren. Jammer want het leek een sympathiek hotel.

Deluxe 2 persoonskamer geboekt. Prima kamer, gewoon basic! Hele aardige en bevlogen man die altijd voor je klaar staat. Zoals ik al zei de kamer is prima prima verwacht er niet te veel van. Ontbijt prima en staat om 8 uur klaar. Ik zou het opnieuw boeken.

Aftandse kamer , onvriendelijke eigenaar … gelukkig heel vriendelijk personeel aan de balie en het ontbijt op zondag. Voor de eigenaar is elke vraag vooral het probleem van de gast en hij laat je in de kou staan. Nooit eerder mee gemakt

We didn't even get into the hotel. Both at noon and in the evening we stood in front of a closed door. Outrageous. Paid in advance and checked in online but couldn't even sleep there. Didn't even go inside and from the outside it looked terribly run down

The Room was ok, not luxury, but it was clean. Very polite staff. Breakfast was not very wide, vut it was cute with everything that was so little. If you don't expect much it's a good place to stay. The staff members are friendly and truely wanna help to make your stay more comfortable. Good job, staff members! Only minus is the code for the door. I didn't recieved it by mail so I had to call the Hotel and waiting for 15 minutes before I could go inside.
