Wir kamen am Nachmittag dort an, das Camp liegt sehr abgelegen im Wadi Rum, jedoch gibt es dort mehrer ähnlicher Art. Die Unterkunft ist ziemlich bescheiden. Das „Beduinenzelt“ besteht aus einem Metallrahmen, an welchem beidseitig Stoffbahnen einfachst befestigt sind, im Bad sollte man vorsichtig sein , denn das Waschbecken ist nur lose befestigt und es gibt keine Ablage im Bad. Das Essen war gut, hier kann man nichts aussetzen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr einfach, wie der Preis ist kann ich nicht sagen, da ich im Rahmen einer Pauschalreise dort war.

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia la notte del 24 agosto. Le "tende" erano dei cubicoli di 12-15 mq, pavimento in cemento, sporche e vecchie. Abbiamo trovato biancheria sporca, sabbia nelle lenzuola e le tende dopo esser state al sole per tutto il giorno verso le 2 di notte avevano ancora temperature infernali. Allego delle foto, che sono meglio di qualsiasi commento. Aggiungo che questa tappa faceva parte di un tour organizzato da Boscolo in hotel di fascia 4 stelle. Inutile sottolineare che ci siamo sentiti presi per i fondelli per la sistemazione fornita oltre a NON aver dormito per tutti i disagi. Non crediate che questo commento sia scritto da uno schizzinoso, ho dormito in posti di tutti i generi (compreso il carro merci, quello vero però). La differenza era che almeno i posti più scomodi dove ho dormito erano gratis, questo Hillawi Camp invece l'abbiamo pagato e non poco.

Este campamento son chamizos de hormigón. De la ducha solo salía un hilo de agua y olvídate de agua caliente. Cuando volvimos de la excursión del desierto hasta arriba de agua se había ido la luz y no pudimos ni lavarnos la cara antes de la cena.Trajeron unos generadores pero en lugar de dar prioridad a las habitaciones se la dieron a un fieston que estaban montando,habia como 300 personas locales en la fiesta asi que ni tranquilad ni ver las estrellas en el desierto. Hasta las 12 duro la fiesta y no tuvimos luz en las habitaciones y encima nos sentimos como fuera de lugar. No volvería

We stayed at the Hilawi camp on Oct 25. This was our first experience in the desert and we found that everyone was extremely friendly. Though this is not an authentic Beaudoin experience, we liked it as we wanted all the amenities around us, clean beds, water, toilet and sink. We loved the food, the roasted lamb was excellent! We lucked out as there was a huge crowd and there was good entertainment for the night. A group of Jordanian men, traditional dancers were there and performed their Dabke, I believe that they are of the Ma'an group. My sister and I enjoyed dancing with this group, the music was good and we really had so much fun. We really enjoyed our stay here at this camp. We also enjoyed the 4x4 trip seeing the Wadi Rum scenic spots and the red sand dunes.

Alors que je m'attendais dormir sous une tente de bédouin, j'ai découvert une suite continue de plusieurs hébergements faits de murs en pierre et de tissus dans lesquels mon logement possédait un lit double "King size" relativement confortable avec deux couvertures de laine sur un drap, c'est à dire juste suffisant pour me protéger avec ma compagne du froid perçant à cette altitude de 1200m. En arrivant dans ce camp à la fin novembre j'étais hors du flot touristique et j'ai dû faire une croix sur mon désir de prendre une douche, l'eau chaude n'existant plus et l'eau froide ne coulant que dans un mince filet. Si vivre une expérience dans le silence du désert peut être exceptionnelle, elle peut aussi être mémorable avec le ronflement continu du dormeur de la tente d'à-côté. Une expérience qui m'a rappelé mes nuitées sous tente en bivouac militaire. Donc à déconseiller aux personnes qui se complaisent dans le confort des hôtels.

La haima era mas o menos amplia y en la parte trasera tenía un baño (Wc, plato de ducha y lavabo). El WC no funcionaba y vinieron a arreglarlo. El plato de ducha no estaba en condiciones para ducharse. Las camas no estaban mal pero hacía falta mas ropa de abrigo. Hubo gente al que le dieron un poco de repelús las mantas y durmió vestido. La cena no está mal aunque el trozo de carne es escaso. Hay fiesta y baile para quien quiera. Esa noche la gente estaba bastante animada. El desayuno malo, frio, sin variedad y sin posibilidad de tostar el pan

Dopo la gita in fuoristrada nel bellissimo deserto di Wadi Rum ci fermiamo in questo campo beduino per ristorarci con un ricco buffet di verdure ed altre portate e soprattutto con lo Zaarb, tipico piatto di tenerissime carni di agnello e pollo con verdure preparato alla brace sotto la sabbia. Accoglienza cortese ed ospitale, pranzo consumato con soddisfazione sotto le tende in ampie tavolate.

Al campamento llegamos casi de noche, las tiendas son muy basicas, casi no tienes sitio para colocar un simple cepillo de dientes, pero el pasar la noche en el desierto y ver las estrellas vale la pena, acaban de cambiar los colchones de las camas y aunque estaban bastante duros el cansancio te vence, la comida fue muy buena, pero el desayuno es escaso, no tienen cafe y los zumos son muy dulces, nosotros no tuvimos ningun problema de insectos, eso si el agua es fria y tienes que llevar su propio gel y champu.

Een mooi kamp , prima prive slaapplekken met WC en douche en heel aardige , behulpzame medewerkers. De traditioneel klaargemaakte Bedoeinen maaltijd was heerlijk; daarna werd gedanst en muziek gemaakt door de Bedoeinen. Vanuit het kamp kun je prachtige excursies maken met een jeep of op een kameel.
