Super 8 by Wyndham Dickson

After thousands of hotel stays my first one star! We travel a lot! This was honestly the dirtiest hotel we have ever been in. I have never given a hotel a one star before. Walked into a hotel that stunk of pot and grease, dirty floors everywhere including the room, shoes stuck to the floor, burn holes in bedding, the towels were dirty, dust and fingerprints everywhere, pool too cloudy to see the bottom, moldy bathroom, people living in the parking lot, breakfast was a couple pieces of bread, no juice or anything else, waffle mix pure water so did not work, shower sprayed out the few holes which were not clogged, no bed spreads only what looked like a disposable sheet on top?, the mattress was 3 ft off the floor on a box of some sort that was too small for it so every time you moved it almost fell on the floor, a senior would not have been able to get on it, the connector door to the room next to us was unlocked so you could actually walk into their room or they into ours! The hall door was a little small for its casing so you could see the hall lights all night shining in the room, no headboard, sprinkler falling out of ceiling. Usually there is something redeeming about a property but honestly here there was not. I am not fussy. I do not care if things are old. I just want clean.

I must say that we have stayed at a lot of Wyndham brand motels and hotels when we travel using our Wyndham rewards. Some are nice and some are pretty run down. This one is by far one of the best we have stayed in. It’s a great little hotel in a low crime area location not far outside of Nashville. Hotel is situated around several good well known chain restaurants. Rooms and hotel were nicely remodeled. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and shower was clean and hot with great water pressure. Breakfast area was clean and nicely organized. It’s a continental style breakfast with cereal, waffles, orange juice tea and coffee etc. We will definitely stay again for a stop over when we are traveling through Tennessee this time next year.

The headboard was broken and the room was not as clean as I would have expected. We didn’t check into the room until late. We brought up the headboard being broken to the front desk.

Hotel was clean and staff pleasant and helpful.

Staff was wonderful. Only cereal and waffles for breakfast. Room was pretty clean. Nice price

I was surprised at how nice and spacious this hotel was as many of them are getting old. This one was very clean and very nice. We did have issues with the neighbors who came in very late and were very LOUD. Plus the staff gave us a connecting room that made noise even worse.
