Beautiful hotel, stunning location, excellent food and very clean rooms and public areas.

Room design is beautiful and view from room is awesome. Bird poop problem at balcony not hotels fault. Breakfast can be improve. The only best thing is staff is lovely. We love them.

Amazing staff and hotel everything was perfect. Except the breakfast buffet for the 3 nights we spent there it was the same food everyday no variety at all.

Excellent hotel with exceptional service. From the start we were greeted by Mr Salman who was professional, courteous and caring also Mr Kareem, Ms Ragil, Mr Mousa, Mr Mohammed, Mr Sreerag at reception were very helpful all the time. The children’s activity area handled by Mrs Yvonne was the best activity for kids who was much liked by kids. The food was very good and fantastic chef Eslam and chef Mustafa were always at hand to make food on request by kids. The service and bar handled by Adharsh, Sahil, Don, Chanchal, Chatika, Anmol and chef Sourav are the best staff in UAE. The parking attendant Mr Murugesan and security Mr Zeeshan and Mr Nasir kept the place safe for us. Primarily because of the best staff of Fairmont. The food was delicious and the pool area with beach always exciting and entertaining which was made safe by the helpful lifeguard Mr Sree. Overall the best place to stay in UAE with family.

We booked the Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort based on the reviews on Trip Advisor which I am not convinced are genuine! Having visited Dubai on several occasions we were extremely disappointed as this hotel did not meet the same high standards we’ve experienced at other hotels in the UAE. This hotel is definitely not 5* & definitely not what you would expect from the Fairmont Chain. The Positives: - All staff were polite & friendly & you can see they work hard. Unfortunately we witnessed them having to deal with some very rude Russian guests! - The rooms were big & clean. - There were 2 pools one of which Canvas Pool was adults only. There was a life guard present at both pools & the one at the adults pool ensured no kids were present - The life guard/towel man was friendly assisted with sun beds & umbrellas. - As a vegetarian we struggled with food especially in the evenings. However we spoke to the head chef who informed us what was on the menu each day & if not suitable made us an alternative dish Negatives: - The hotel is a two-hour transfer from Dubai airport. - There is nothing within walking distance to do outside of the hotel - The beach area is tiny & strong smell of tar - There is no clear communication/notice of activities offered during the day. All activities take place at the Lava Pool (family pool) so if you are at the adults pool you don’t know what is going on. They need to have a notice board (maybe next to the main restaurant) that clearly shows what’s on each day or the entertainment team should walk around the adults pool letting them know like they do at the Lava Pool. - The swim-up bar wasn’t open at the Canvas Pool - There are not enough staff to man the bars often only 1 person serving so you had to queue for drinks - There aren’t enough sunbeds for all the guests. At 7am most of the beds were taken. - Unfortunately you had a lot of beds that had towels on them which were not used for most of the day. - There was no evening entertainment, despite being advertised. The sports bar was always empty. Whilst it was open from 6pm the AI option was only available from 7pm - 10pm - The all-inclusive drinks package is from 11am - at 10 PM. Nowhere on the website does it state this. Premium drinks were chargeable . - There are 2 Al A Carte restaurants. Lava - (closes at 6pm) & Copper Lobster you had an 100AED allowance (which did not include drinks) anything above that was chargeable - The main dining room is not big enough to accommodate all the guests so you would have to queue to get in which was quite frustrating. - No snacks available during the day - The pictures on the website show spinning bikes & Aqua Bounce both of which were not available - Terrible sewer smell by the Canvas Bar in the evenings
