This is our 4th visit to Papillon. The staff are amazing here. The animation team have such energy, the water aerobics is like nothing else. Everyone is always busy working, from the gardeners to the housekeepers to the pool attendants. Joseph and Raphael on the bar were excellent as always. Abdullah the pool attendant is always on hand with towels and keeps the pool clean. The rooms are always kept super clean with fresh linen and bottled water daily. The rooms now have a fridge and kettle (but you need your own teabags etc). The food and drink is great, lots of choices. The beach is stunning with pure white sand. Love this hotel and recommend to others

Just came back from a short break here. The staff are helpful and friendly. Good selection of food each day, all prepared fresh. Lovely pool and great views. Diani beach is beautiful and the water is lovely but you will be hassled by locals trying to sell you things pretty much constantly. Monkeys are very cute but mischievous, and will try to take belongings. Would definitely consider coming back as was a brilliant experience

Das Hotel hat seinen eigenen Charme. Die Zimmer zum Teil alt aber sauber, werden aber nach und nach saniert. Das Essen ist lecker, wenngleich die Auswahl übersichtlich ist. Auch für Veganer ist gesorgt. Die Anlage ist sehr schön mit altem Baumbestand und vielen Kokosnusspalmen, die auch fast täglich geerntet werden und den Gästen von den Gärtnen (gegen ein kleines Trinkgeld) angeboten werden. Die 3 verschiedenen Affenarten sind posierlich aber schlau. Sie klauen Essen wo sie können, obwohl sie viele Früchte auf den Bäumen finden. Die kommen auch im 2 Stock auf den Balkon. Der Pool ist in keinem guten Zustand und wird nicht gut gepflegt. (Pumpen laufen selten oder gar nicht, Wasserqualität wird nicht kontrolliert. Ich würde mein Kind dort nicht rein lassen. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Fazit: Preis-Leistung nicht okay. Zu teuer. Leistung nicht mehr als drei Sterne (besser Sonnen) wert. Der Strand ist der Hammer ,bis auf die Strand Verkäuferdie nerven. Eine Safari sollte Mann auf jeden Fall machen.Für uns war es echt ein Erfahrung.

Very old and dated hotel. Food very bland and always the same. Pool extremely dirty.Very expensive for what you get. There are much better options in the area.

Service was very poor .Most staff are not friendly . Noticed gate security was very rude and . Mr. Fredrick from swimming pool bar was very professional and warm along with the rest swimming pool bar staff . rooms were not well cleaned during check in and you have to leave the door open to remove the bad odor

Die Anlage ist veraltet. Defekte Liegestühle werden nicht ersetzt. Diverse Sichtbare Mängel werden nicht bereinigt. Hotel Rezeption geht wenig auf Wünsche ein obwohl man extra Zahlen würde. Das Morgenessen und Mittagessen ist leider ein wenig unstrukturiert.
