The rooms are dark and have a distinct musty smell, no glass on windows, just the mosquito mesh, So it gets cold and drafty at night. The Pillows are lumpy and very uncomfortable. The breakfast is decent but very limited yet one cannot get seconds. Pool, showers are decent. My last visit in April, my room had not been cleaned, beddings are old abd could be improved.

If you search for calm and authentic Kenya vacation, this place is for you. Very nice and welcoming people. The owner is very helpful with everything. He can recomend places to visit, help organising it. Very tasty breakfast from fresh local food. All service great. Local people, also in village are friendly with tourists. You have to take tuktuk or motorbike from time to time, as it is a little far from city, but its cheap. We will definitely come back.

we stayed for a long new year weekend and had a fabulous new years eve on the beach. the cottages are a walk from the beach and you will need to take a taxi or tuk tuk but the owner is always on hand to provide a ride and support
