Excellent staff, amazing service and great rooms that have a very unique vibe to it , I would go back any day when I'm in Diani. I loved the bar area too

This resort is smaller and more intimate than many of those you find on the Kenyan shore, Diani beach. The style is chic, the interior is tasteful, yet low key. The place was created and owned until 2023 by an Italian couple and carries traces of great taste in style and ambience. You find here 8 suites + a penthouse and a villa, that can accommodate a family or a group of friends. The rooms are delightfully spacious. The beach is as long as the eye can see. If interested in activities, there are many. If you just want to relax, stay in the beautiful turtle shaped infinity pool. You find here wonderful staff that cares about you and always keep an eye to see that you have all you need – and then some. The hotel’s motto «Come as a guest, leave as a friend» may depend on your own attitude, but if you are open for friendship, this is where you get it. Thank you for being so humorous and fun, we really connected! Will be back, that’s for sure! 💕

The perfect honeymoon destination. The location is stunning, overlooking the azure blue sea. The resort is small and exclusive with a relaxed vibe throughout. One can truly switch-off with the staff making a conscious effort to ensure their guests do not lift a finger during their stay. The Waterlovers hotel team, from cleaners to the management, are exceptional. Every single member of staff is prepared to go above an beyond to make sure their guests have the best time possible. Nothing is too much to ask and they are all, genuine and personable. For our honeymoon, we were treated to a handmade love heart arch in our apartment made from palm fronds and a flower display in our room. At dinner, we are on white sand beach, nestled amongst a fairy light display around our table. A very special experience. The quality of the food matched the quality of the staff. We experienced some amazing fish dishes and, fresh fruit and epic desserts and we were never left hungry. There are numerous excursions which you can book through the hotel. We had a great time snorkelling off the local reef and saw lots of zebra fish, starfish and eels. A great experience. Overall, a truly special experience and we would highly recommend.

We spent a short week at Waterlovers with our family of five. The place is absolutely wonderful and is highly recommended. Friendly and helpful staff made the vacation perfect. Everyone from front office to housekeeping were very nice and professional

We truly enjoyed our stay at Waterlovers and would recommend this to anybody visiting Diani Beach. We stayed in the Hippo Suite and found the room to be spacious and the A/C worked wonderfully. The bathroom was also large and the water pressure/hot water were also very appreciated. The common facilities were well-kept and in great condition. We enjoyed the pool, bar, and the restaurant. All provided good service and allowed us time to relax. During our stay, we opted for a snorkeling glass boat tour, a cruise up the Kongo River at sunset, and massages at the hotel. The hotel also informed us that sea turtles were going to hatch in the afternoon and we were able to see that as well. What an experience! The hotel also provided transportation via taxi or tuk tuk, which made things easy. This hotel is secluded and a great way to visit Diani Beach.

Truly wonderful boutique resort. Small and intimate, wonderful people and food. Great accommodations- we had the oceanfront penthouse! Snorkeling and kayaking included. Highly recommend and a safari excursion or anytime!
