Seaside Dhigurah

English: One week stay from December 29th to January 5th, two adults and a child. Lovely structure in the heart of the village, a few minutes walk from the local beach. At the moment there are some bungalows immersed in a well-kept garden that also includes the reception. Other accommodations are already operational and being expanded in the corner opposite. The room is large and modern, fairly well equipped, except for the wardrobe, which was a little undersized. Excellent air conditioning, TV, safe, minibar and small desk. Decent bathroom with double sink, outdoor shower, excellent bathrobes provided. Excellent quality of sleep, very comfortable bed, reasonable cleanliness. Breakfast is served in a structure adjacent to the reception, also equipped with a terrace. However, in a week, it was never served there, but inside, due to the very uncertain weather, a constant characteristic of these islands unfortunately. A buffet with fruit, some sweet and savory specialties, toast; overall sufficient, acceptable coffee. Average service, based on who was on duty. A couple of guys frankly seemed rather lazy and unresponsive. Much more empathetic those of the excursions and Riswaan, the manager who, although not always present in the structure, responds promptly and accurately to messages on WhatsApp. There was a bit of concern about the quality of the bicycles (based on several criticisms in the reviews), however the number seems to have increased and we have always found a couple in good condition. Riswaan even made an effort to find one outside the hotel for our ten-year-old daughter, now too big to be transported on adult ones, almost all mountain bike style. Thanks to this we were able to explore the island well, reaching the splendid bikini beach in the south of the island several times (in about twenty minutes). To the right of the hotel exiting, about twenty meters away, there is a well-stocked market with fruit, snacks and ice cream, as well as many other items. The Christmas Eve dinner was good (for a fee). Too bad for the New Year's Eve party that, despite the prohibitive conditions, was still set up on the beach, in the rain all evening, a fact that had a very negative impact on the evening, definitely ruined. Perhaps a preventive set up in a structure even partially covered would have been a must. Overall, however, a very good experience, in one of the most welcoming structures on the island. Very welcome and unexpected a (double) little thought from the staff for our daughter at the time of check-out, before boarding to go and take the seaplane to a nearby island, perfectly organized by Riswaan at our request.

Total afslapning og hyggeligt sted Dejlig perle hvor der er ro og fred. Vi boede i den ældre del, hvor der er terasse med dejlig sofa og bord og stol. Husk myggespray og husk høj solfaktor. Solen har max UV index. Morgenmad hver dag var forskelligt. Har byens bedste Tun Kottu Roshi

Ikke godt nok Personalet var virkelig flinke og forsøgte at forbedre de udfordringer vi havde, men det var alt fra plettede lagner og håndklæder, som stadig var fugtige, plettede vægge og myrer i morgenmaden.
