Crown Beach Hotel-Private Bikini Beach Reviews

I have reviewed it before, and then stayed for another night, and spent a perfect six days and five nights in this hotel.

An ordinary guesthouse on two floors.. the rooms are old.. the beach is right at the exit.. there is no pool.

The environment of the hotel is good, sitting by the sea to eat, the food is quite delicate, but the equipment is a bit old, and the hotel staff are very enthusiastic.

We stayed 9 days at the Crown Beach Hotel, and we had an amazing time. Beautiful beach with lots of shades below trees and palms, clear waters, and the hotel manager and his team treated us so friendly and helped us with every wish we had. We felt at home! We loved the snorkeling tours and the karaoke nights with them. We enjoyed also very much the food and the fresh juices. The rooms were very clean and there was always water for free! I can highly recommend visiting the Crown Beach Hotel 💗

Terrible do not book here, shabby, 2 star guesthouse at best. Had to request a clean - sheets not changed in 6 days or bathroom cleaned. Our return boat transfer to airport was scarey - boat started to fill up with water the driver and his 2 friends eventually stopped to drain the boat! Worst hotel I have stayed in.

Terrible, rusty appliances, everything was dirty, lazy stuff, the fridge was very dirty, high prices for less than nothing, horrible food. If you do choose to come here, be mindful of the fact that it is unsafe. The 4 stars that the hotel proudly wears are a bad joke. It doesn't deserve even 1 star. 130 dollars per night was way too much for what was offered. This is a place you should definitely avoid.

We spent 4 wonderful nights in this beach hotel. The room was super clean. We had full board and were enjoying all the meals and beverages. The hotel transfer from and to Malé was also easy to discuss. The hotel offers various activities, we selected snorkelling with turtle watch, and fishing. Everything was nice and perfect, the locals are also very friendly. I would go back again for sure. Thank you!

The most unacceptable, unprofessional hotel and management. We went to Maldives for our honeymoon and landed at Male airport at 1pm and had Crown Beach villas booked for 1 day to check if place is good, we wanted to extend for 5 additional days. However, we are glad we didn't do the mistake of pre booking for 6 days completely. 1st of all the contact number mentioned on *********** and Google doesn't connect to this place. With the help of Maldives airport information counter, we got help with the manager - Rashid contact number who mistreated us and disgraced the tourism experience. Firstly this manager Rashid conveniently ignores the phone calls - I mean initially he ignored answering calls 12 times and 13th time when he answered, while talking to him asking for the transfer from Male airport to Dhiffushi Island, he disconnected the call while talking and again he disappeared and stopped answering the calls Again after 10 more calls, Rashid answered and while again retraiting the old call, asked him on the transfer and he said 4:30pm the boat will come to Male airport Island. We waited for the same from 1pm-4:30pm and since there was no boat until 4:45pm, called Rashid again and as usual he ignored answering calls 7 times and post answering he said no boat until 5:30pm and disconnected again. We kept calling 16 times and again had no choice than waiting until 5:30pm. Finally until 6pm when still the boat didn't arrive, we called again and Rashid never answered the 10 calls. We tried reaching our travel partner agoda complaining that there is no option to travel to the booked place and no support been provided and agoda advised they will try to reach the hotel and request cancellation so we get a refund. While we were also trying to reach Rashid, he answered and we asked him to either support the transfer or cancel our booking for refund. He replied to us to cancel and he can't do anything and again hung up. It was 7:10pm until then and another Rashid who is related to the Crown Beach Hotel owner Vidad, came to us and said the boat will come provided we pay $35 each so $70 for 2 of us. There were another couple from Spain also waiting with us since 3pm for the same hotel's boat and they were also mistreated like us by Vidad So we weren't alone in this unprofessional tourism experience and abuse. Maybe this hotel operates in this abusive manner or the plan was to pull out more money. Either ways we 2 couples suffered for 7 hours at the airport. Finally we agreed to pay as agoda said the hotel has refused to cancel the booking and if we don't check-in we loose money + no other option to book another hotel and get the transfer. Finally the boat arrived at 7:45pm with a driver and Vidad in it and they were least interested in hearing our pain of 7 hours, moreover they increased the fare and started asking us for $45 for each which means $90 for couple, not just that, they put a condition that we wait until 9pm as they have few more guests landin

Rooms were a bit small but very comfortable with working AC and mini fridge to keep drinks cold and bottled water is free. There is no pool, but the location is right on the beach with magnificent views of the water that you walk right outside to be greeted by. The staff were wonderful, especially Anil and Ivan at the front desk The chef went out of his way to accommodate different dietary needs, and they packed our breakfast "to go" due to our very early departure time. The speedboat transfer is very expensive, but the captain and crew were extremely accommodating to pick us up in Malé and drop us off at the airport on our final day before dawn. On the outbound trip the captain even stopped in the middle of the ocean to let us admire and photograph a pod of dolphins nearby. It's a small, boutique hotel so not the big-hotel feel, but clean and comfortable, with very receptive, personalized service given by the staff.

The location is great. Amazing sunsets. Just by the beach. Breakfast was always a delight. The manager picked us from jetty. He was friendly and always polite. Also the rest of the staff very helpful. A great place to feel the Maldivian ways.

Very cozy and pleasant hotel, located in a very convenient and beautiful place. From the hotel you can go directly to the beach. There are tables on the beach where you can eat and enjoy the view of the ocean.There are no dangerous animals and insects. Heavenly beauty all around, kind and friendly people. The hotel staff are very attentive to the guests. Special thanks to Ivan, he tried to fulfill all our wishes. Advice to the hotel management, take care of employees like Ivan. Unforgettable impressions, we are very happy to meet Ivan and spend time in this wonderful hotel.
