Crown Beach Hotel-Private Bikini Beach

I have reviewed it before, and then stayed for another night, and spent a perfect six days and five nights in this hotel.

An ordinary guesthouse on two floors.. the rooms are old.. the beach is right at the exit.. there is no pool.

We stayed in a villa on the beach, a clean room with a comfortable bed and beautiful views from the room. I booked with *********** first, but booking with them for the same price we had full board and they gave us free snorkelling. We paid for another excursion to another place to see turtles and we didn't see any, and on this free one we did see lots of colourful fish. The guy went in and looked for us and found us a turtle... a nice coincidence, he moved away from the boats where there were a lot of people, he knew the sea well... We booked the airport transfers with them and they were punctual to pick us up and also to take us. And the food had a first and second course, the drinks were all simple but good, there was local food and also very good pasta and pizza. A highly recommended option if you are on this island.

Premise....the structure is currently different from many photos/videos that you see online..the situation in Diffushi is that they are building new structures everywhere and one next to the Crown Beach...this has led to the reduction of the available beach and the demolition of the stone pier that you see in some images. The structure is very simple, with fairly large rooms and a comfortable bed, bathroom with shower without glass/curtains - we were in the room on the ground floor immediately next to the reception and with a sea view - Sufficient but repetitive catering, for our taste it was fine but if you are looking for great fish meals you could be disappointed...room NEVER cleaned and bed NEVER made in a week, we were looking for a cool environment but this was perhaps excessive. Courteous staff, perhaps a little improvised but certainly helpful. The most important thing, the sea, is absolutely "Maldivian" level, a lagoon of crystal clear and warm water, white sand, what we love most.... truly splendid. The island is about 45 minutes by fast motorboat from the airport, it does not have many attractions, only a few evening walks along the main road but negligible. If I had to give a rating, 2 max 3 stars for structure, food, organization but 5 stars for the sea, if you are looking for relaxation sun and sea it is perfect or almost, the rest is definitely a matter of taste....
