I would recommend this place very warmly. The room was clean, it was cleaned everyday. It was quiet and right by the ocean. We had breakfast in the morning right by the waterside, good breakfast, both traditional Maldive and continental. It was close to all the good restaurants by the beach, only a few minutes walk to Compass Beach Bistro. Also we where diving with Scuba Divine, it was only 2 min walk from them. And only a few minutes walk to bikini beach. Very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and helped us with everything we asked about. When we came and left, they picked us up by the ferry and took our bags from/to the ferry and waited with us until the ferry came when we left. Lush garden in the hotel and a small terrace to overview the ocean. If we come back to Dhangethi we will definitely stay here again.

Little cleaning of the rooms, breakfast always the same for 8 consecutive days. Let's not talk about the attached beach, on trip it looks very nice but in October 2022 it looks more like a battlefield with building rubble almost everywhere. The manager, bah, not very serious person who doesn't provide most of the paid services by distorting the truth. Reimbursement of the tour operator, proposed 30 euros for 3 services not provided and starvation food for the first 2 days. Maldives. . . maybe I'll go back. . . Dhangethi al Mala or Sunset or Perla (all by the same indigenous Gere te) ? BUT ALSO NO Go read the other negative reviews, you will make a clear drawing of a place made to rip off the tourist and absent desire to work.

After 2 years of pandemic, you leave happy for the Maldives and what do you find. . . Maldivian-run Guest House, poorly managed is perhaps a compliment. For the replacement of towels and sheets, it is better to ask the only boy who takes care of the 4 rooms in person, otherwise they will remain the same for the entire stay. The rooms with AC and fan are clean if you think about it yourself (no safe, so watch your possessions). The decor no longer reflects much of those posted on TripAdvisor (changed for the worse obviously). Repetitive breakfast: 3 toasts, butter, strawberry jam, omelette and frankfurters with obscene juice and coffee. The small beach of the GH, devastated with piles of building debris and various rubbish. Don't really expect the famed brilliant white beaches. In addition to that, you will enjoy free aromatherapy offered by a broken sewage pipe within walking distance of you. Various services were not provided to us other than what was described in the offer. 1) Excursion among dolphins with sunset cocktail 2) Excursion to the San bank with picnic 3) BBC on the beach 4) #LoveDive T-shirt 5) Without forgetting the disservices of the food In short, apart from the diving, food and lodging = great disappointment . I recommend reading the negative reviews in tripadvisor (but like Mala boutique in) because they give a more real picture of the situation. The name change to Sunset Beach View is perhaps to disguise the obscenity of the place. Dhangethi? Maybe I'll go back to Mala or Sunset NEVER AGAIN and not even hotel Perla (same management) Reimbursement for disservices. . . luckily I know the tour operator personally, the ridiculous 30 euros don't change my life. For all of this, the tour operator blames COVID (by now it has become a trend to clear itself of any badness). This location lacks the desire to work but not to cheat the tourist. That is never lacking especially in certain corners of the world. I have visited many places; (from Iceland, to central Almerica, Bali - Jakarta - Malaysia - Philippines - Raja Ampat - Vietnam - Cambodia - West Papua; but it's only the second or third time I've been in a similar discomfort. ONE SUGGESTION = AVOID THIS PROPERTY AND DON'T TRUST THE MANAGER, HE HAS THE GREAT CAPACITY TO DISTORT THE TRUTH

We stayed here for 12 nights and had a lovely time. It is a great value for the price. Of course you cannot expect luxury resort. Accommodation was fine, we had everything we need, staff was helpful and our kids really enjoyed lovely garden. Also the distance from the bikini beach is very short. Room have everything we need - AC, simple bathroom, enough space even for family of 4, and also flat TV (even though we didnt used it at all). Breakfast was also decent and served on lovely beach area with the view on small sharks on the reef. If u are family like us - rather save money for simple, yet clean accommodation, and spend more on trips, excursions etc...this is your best choice
