Dhangheti is a nice island and the restaurants are really really good (best places not to spend too much money on food, a plate is around 6 euros). I spent 4 days doing the open water diving course with Sana and it was one of the best experiences of my life. During the 4 diving that I had to do to get the certificate we saw whale sharks, mantas, a shipwreck and lots of Marina sea life. I felt really safe all the time because Sana is really careful and always check everyone is okay. The rooms are great, just normal dimension and really clean. The prices are unbeatable and if you’re looking for a place to dive it’s really the best. The only negative side is that the island is a little bit dirty (like every island where locals live) and the deck chairs in the bikini beach could be renewed.

Took a trip to Island scuba in December with my daughter in the hopes that we could finally have our first whaleshark encounter! Rauf and Sana were incredible hosts. We felt like part of their family instantly. The inn was well located, nice and quiet, super comfy beds and large, clean bathrooms. We went diving every day on their boat and were so happy to have such incredible dives. We saw manta rays, eagle rays, turtles, sharks, eels and even dolphins at the end of our final dive! And yes - we finally had our whale shark encounter and it was every bit as magical as we had hoped it would be! Highly recommend a stay with Rauf and Sana. It was especially wonderful for my teen daughter to see Sana as a local female guide for our dives. Will definitely return!
