Shekhars Rest House

During my frequent travel-ling i choose this hotel because it is located at nearby in railway station and easily catch share auto. Staff members are really good.

Its just good, but the surroundings of the hotel is not clean, so when we are coming outside of hotel, we are feeling uncomfortable

I had a short stay here. Food is good, location is good, 5 min walking from railway station. Towel, pillow, blanket and bedsheet are not clean.

Booked this hote all hotels provide breakfast but this hotel has charges for the same. Even if you reach prior to check in time, most of the hotels arrange your rooms, but this hotel has charged 25% of the booking amount if you reach before the check in or you should wait at reception till check in time. very pathetic services over here.

We went there during the holi weekend of 18-20th march 2022 and had a horrible experience. There was literally no staff to arrange a cup of tea. There was a single staff who managed to supply us drinking water, plates and glasses and we felt bad as he was overburdened all the time. We had to depend on outside food but the hotel manager didn't even warm the food that too after repeated request. They simply provided us our room and then completely neglected further hospitality. Acs were working fine but we had to adjust with one master remote among our two rooms which is also another pathetic experience. Our female friend who used to stay nearby was not even allowed to spend 1min and made her standing outside under hot sun. Disgusting management and it's staff

Service and service providers were great. Well mannered and helpful. Will definitely like to visit again

Although the surroundings of the hotel are not so nice, the hotel is very neat and clean. Rooms are also beautiful.

It is an avarage rest house where you can get only breakfast. Rooms are not that much large as they are shown in photos. The location is good, 5 mins walking distance from dhanbad railway station. Rooms are clean and that is the best part. There is no disturbance and privacy is maintained. Overall not bad for 1-2 night stay. If you go there please try to take ac rooms.

Location, food and hygiene was excellent at the hotel. Staffs were supportive. Rooms have nice space. Only thing that was missing was secure parking, otherwise stay was good.
