We had an excellent stay in our studio apartment at The Barclay Motor Inn. in Devonport. Our apartment was spacious and very comfortable with a king sized bed, dining table and a couch. The kitchen and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. Water pressure in the shower was very good! Only a couple of minute's drive to the beach, shops and cinema. A great place to base yourself to tour the North West Coast.

Lovely people run the business but unfortunately they've added an external pump below the air conditioner on the wall. Even with the air conditioner off for hours, the pump is quite noisy and comes on regularly for 15 seconds throughout the night. In our case at 1:30am, 2:30am, 4:00am, 5:00am. I was told this mod has been made in 8 rooms so far. If you want a restful sleep not the place.

I loved this place. home away from home. Our apartment had a bonus we didn't expect, it had 2 tv's, for those time my spouse wanted to watch football and I wanted to see something else. Worked for us.

Very clean and reasonably priced. Close to Spirit of Tasmania terminal and walking distance to Mersey Bluff Lighthouse / Coles Beach. Great spot to start and end your Tasmania journey. Craig and Deb were great in managing late arrival and giving travelling tips

Loved our stay at Barclay! Such a peaceful, clean retreat at the end of each of our busy days exploring Tassie! Kids loved the heated pool, I loved the close proximity to Parkrun and beautiful morning walking pathways! Would definitely stay again!

Great place, conveniently located and well priced. Everything we need in a room. Very clean and tidy. We will certainly be back if we have to stay in Devonport again.
