Beautiful lake view. We had a room on the lake side that had a small balcony where I sat outside, reading and looking out at the lake. We didn't swim but there was a nice-looking beach. The hotel was busy but it was still very quiet. Small bar with a very friendly bartender. No restaurant, but there are a number of restaurants close by. Recommend the Main Street Diner for breakfast and Firelight Supper Club for dinner.

Since this was our anniversary, we decided to splurge and sign in to this resort/hotel. Hearing the piano playing as we entered, we knew this was a classy place and we were not disappointed. Located right on Detroit Lake, it has a beautiful view and our room had a balcony to view the lake. We used the hot tub and then had a great night sleep. In the morning, the buffet breakfast could not be beat. Real dishes and the food was fantastic! We highly recommend this Lodge to be on your list as well.

Great experience
The rooms were clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Pool was good. Breakfast was good. The only “complaint” was that the fitted sheet provided for the pull out bed didn’t fit.. we could have asked for a different one but just chose to make do.. if that’s my only concern.. it was a great stay. We will stay again!

Older resort~ if you reserve rooms make sure you're not in the basement as rooms and old carpet smell just like your basement. The heating system is old as well ~ if you need a fan to sleep bring one. If you are traveling in the winter request is that they turn on the heat for your room before arrival. We are MN native and the room was pretty cold even to us ( 60).
