I stayed with a friend for a convention and the hotel staff was amazing. Extremely helpful and courteous despite being super busy. Unfortunately because of our schedule I was unable to take advantage of all the incredible amenities offered at the hotel but I'm pretty confident I will be back. The beds were super comfortable, the sheets were a little rough but the mattress and pillows lent for a good night's rest. The heat/ac system was a tad loud but not enough to prevent me from sleep. The water in the morning wasn't the hottest but not cold either, I just like Hot water. Overall, perfect location and very nice hotel. Yes I'll stay again someday. -Kim

Very nice hotel and the most convenient to Huntington Place. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was nice and view was terrific, though bathroom was a little tight and shower leaked onto the floor, but not a huge issue. And thanks for having cable tv and not just streaming in the room!

Still clean and safe after all these decades. Nothing fancy. Smaller rooms. But as has been the case for decades, still a nice place to stay. Having 2 restaurants and a coffee shop helps. There are places around to eat offsite including a Tropical Smoothie. If you need to stay in downtown Detroit, this hotel still ranks high as an option.

Staff is amazing! But not enough value or amenities for the price. No free coffee No free continental bkfast No garbage can in my room Refrigerator didn’t work The last guest’s washcloth was still in the shower Hair in the sink The moving latch on my door was broken off. I won’t be staying there again.

Great location. Close to People Mover and Q Line. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet was atrocious. Overcooked pancakes. Edges were chewy: like beef jerky! Scones were raw inside. Eggs were dry, clumpy and overcooked. Management needs to seriously revamp the menu. Taste it and tell me it's worth $20. Visit local restaurants to see what is possible with fresh, properly cooked ingredients.

I stayed here for a night this week; I was a little dubious from some reviews but was very pleasantly surprised. The location is fantastic- opposite the convention center and a short walk from the downtown bars and restaurants. The service was exceptional- the receptionists were very friendly, check in and out were quick and easy. The bar staff really stood out. Courtney and her colleagues were so chatty and full of recommendations of things to see and do in Detroit. My 24th floor room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The views were great. The bathroom was functional and the shower had good pressure- only gripe was the toiletries weren't great quality and were hard to get out of the bottles. All in all, a very good option for Downtown Detroit, I'll certainly stay again if I ever come back to Detroit.

Clean hotel. Friendly & helpful staff. Easy access to People Mover and Q Line. Great views of Detroit River and Canada. Pool was clean. AVOID THE BREAKFAST BUFFET. While the staff was pleasant, the food was horrible. Scones were raw inside. Pancake edges were chewy (beef jerky chewy) Bagels had an almost spoiled flavor. Management needs to seriously revamp the menu.

The Staff was amazing . Very professional and courteous . Patrice W in the Bar area. Lisa and Felicia at the front desk were amazing . We are looking forward to returning in the future. Service was the best I have witnessed in years. Every person i came in contact with was very professional and great at their job.
