Detroit’s revitalization continues along Woodward! This brand new AC is a welcome addition to the Marriott offerings in downtown Detroit. Awesome, helpful and friendly front desk staff make for a pleasant stay. Rooms are well appointed and tasteful with lots of natural light ( something other AC’s can lack). Ask for a room that doesn’t face Woodward for a quiet nights sleep. The Conservatory restaurant is serving up some mighty fine eats- the shrimp dish was a-mazing! Worth the walk or quick Q-Line trip; MLK stop for those planning to head downtown. Would I stay again- for sure.

Stayed one night for a concert close by. Hotel was spotless, new, clean, great. Location is awesome, could not have been more convenient. Staff was great, helpful and friendly. We will stay again but there are a couple quirks.
You basically have to use the valet to park and it is $48 a night (expensive), know that because it is not clearly stated and is the only real parking option.
The heat/ac was extremely loud in the room when running. Fortunately for us it was an evening we could just shut the system off and be comfortable. It was really loud.
Those are my only quirks. I do wish the breakfast wad open through checkout time, but we are not get up and get going people so more us being lazy. All in all we will stay again for downtown events.

Updated property, very well appointed and clean. And it’s in a great location close to sports venues. Best of all, we want to recognize the great staff throughout our entire experience - everyone we met was friendly and helpful … valet, front desk, and bar. Highly recommend - and we will be back!

Horrible breakfast menu!!!
Hotel dining for breakfast need to have a variety of different foods everyone don’t eat the kinds of breakfast they had .. My husband nd I was very disappointed we couldn’t eat breakfast people need the traditional breakfast bacon scrambled eggs( not cage free) sausage toast .. this would’ve made our stay nd a few other people I talked to while there a lot better !! Change your breakfast menu nd I will be sure to book there again!!

I traveled to Detroit on business. Hotel is brand new. Friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful bar/restaurant and lounge area with warm fireplace. They have breakfast available but I didn’t partake. Some snacks available for purchase. Room was industrial yet cozy. I didn’t like the mattress, too firm for my tastes. I did like the numerous pillows. The HVAC system in my room was pretty loud. Not great water pressure in the shower. I might stay again, loved the location.
