Hotel is a 25 min walk from the station. Well situated with a great view of the lake. Breakfast is fine with plenty of choice.
There is a nice area to sit outside and have a drink from the bar.
The only downside is the noise you can hear from other rooms particularly in the evening. I have already mentioned this to the hotel and they are refurbishing more rooms next year so hopefully you won't be able to hear your neighbours flush the loo and plug their phones in !!
Other than that it's a great small hotel .

Buyer beware: Despite the fact that I booked months in advance, very specifically reserving the Comfort room with a balcony, the hotel messed up and somehow gave me downgraded rooms for all three nights. The first night, I was put in an internal facing triple room, then the next two nights I was in a smaller classic balcony room. Imagine the inconvenience of having to switch rooms during your Italy vacation. They apologized and refunded me a measly $60 total, which is an absolute insult, considering this was during peak season. There are so many options in Desenzano and Lake Garda in general— pick something that will fully honor your reservation that you book months in advance. Another thing I learned is that Italian hospitality doesn’t apply during their breakfast time; I constantly had to get up from my table to actively ask the nonchalant waitress for coffee every day.

Ho soggiornato questo week end ,devo dire che mi sono trovata benissimo ,stanze pulitissime,posizione dell hotel vista lago ,colazione davvero top si spazia dal dolce al salato con un buffet molto fornito che ci ha deliziato di brioches torte e per quanto riguarda il salato c'è di tutto ,il personale della reception grandissimo molto competenti ,molto preparati per quanto riguarda l accoglienza di stranieri ,e Valentina molto cordiale e molto competente siccome cercavamo un ristorante di pesce ci ha consigliato un posto davvero al top ,direi che è stato un soggiorno bellissimo in questo grande hotel !!!👏👏👏👏

Excellent location, great view of Lake Garda. Breakfast options were great, we travelled with a 4 month old baby. No problems sleeping with the balcony doors and shutters and air conditioned room Great location for the ferry for day trips to Sirmione etc and the train station isn't far away either for trips to Venice, Verona and Peschiara Del Garda
