The Pros: The most fantastic location - you are at the epicentre of all restaurants and bars Large, bright and clean room Large, clean and modern bathroom Small balcony Comfortable bed Sun terrace (with 2 loungers) The Cons: Lift doesn't go to our floor, after the lift to the first floor, you then have 4 sets of stairs to get to our room. We had to transport our own luggage as there is no concierge and staff were unable or unwilling to move our room. Poor AC - which is centralised. Hotel were unwilling to lower AC as it would affect all hotel rooms, however as we were on 3rd floor, heat rises, and therefore if AC was set to 21 degrees, our room still felt 30 degrees Unable or unwilling to supply a fan (our TUI rep eventually purchased a fan which resolved the issues with the poor AC) Unfriendly and unnhelpful day staff (however evening and night staff were both helpful and friendly) No view and balcony looked out to next building, zero air flow (so make sure you request room with balcony looking out onto harbour) Overall we enjoyed our holiday once we had resolved the room comfort issue. Hotel day staff were unfazed by any issues. Hotel is in fabulous position and I think we were unfortunate with the position of our room. A lower floor (where a lift went to), would probably not have been so hot and we wouldnt need to walk up 40 steps. Something to be aware of when booking your room.

Stayed for a week in June when the weather was blisteringly hot. Single room was small but had everything you could need or want, including a little internal balcony. Clean sheets and towels continually available and room was spotless. AC was an absolutely blessing. Breakfast was plentiful and it was nice to be able to sit on the terrace watching the world go by. Hotel is situated by the harbour with restaurants and bars just a few metres away. Despite that it was quiet and undisturbed by any noise. The staff were courteous and helpful and very accommodating with any requests. Especially on the last day when pick up wasn't until later. The ability to sit on the first floor terrace with access to the loo was welcome. Tourist tax was less than €20 and happy to pay if it means the town and surrounding area remains spotless and well maintained. Absolutely recommend this hotel. First class.
