Pros: spacious rooms, cleaning with change of towels, water, tea and coffee every day.
Close to the sea, wonderful uncrowded beach, good gym.
Cons: in this hotel we literally had to survive)) The place is located far from all shops and cafes, we thought about it in advance and brought food with us. But on the spot it turned out that in such a large kitchen there is no stove, microwave, plates and cutlery. Only cups...
We asked to heat up our food in the hotel canteen, we were refused. We did not risk going to the canteen, even locals do not eat there + high prices.
Upon check-in, the impression was spoiled, because we were settled in a room on the 1st floor overlooking the parking lot 🤦♀️ Giant ants were running around in the room and it smelled of cigarettes. All night long we "enjoyed" the smell of exhaust fumes and the noise of bikes.
The next day we asked to change the room, we were moved to a good room on the 4th floor, with a view of the pool. The room was much better, although there were cockroaches there. Why they couldn't immediately check us into a normal room is a mystery. About 20% of the rooms in the hotel are occupied. It feels like some buildings are completely closed.
There is literally nothing to do in the hotel, no events or entertainment, except for the pool, which is always occupied by local children.
We would have left here earlier, but the reservation could not be cancelled or the dates changed.
Nearby is the Fruit Farm and the River with Fireflies (booked through Restoran Terapung Seafood Bujang Firefly), I recommend visiting.
