Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel

Excellent place to stay for the Super Bikes, But that was it. Poor expensive food, only had the choice of 6 meals, none of them for children. the planes only stop for a couple of hours, The main thing is the stupid ****** that bring the generators to a camp site, No one at the Hotel stopped this. We should have stayed until Sunday but had to leave Saturday just to get a good nights sleep. Take earplugs if you do stay. From one very annoyed camper

Really mixed review here! Well located, only a short walk to the circuit. Toilet block nearest the Donny gate was GRIM… floors had never seen a mop, bins were ‘open’ (no lid) and with no windows or air vent they smell. Showers however were crystal clean, although £1.50 for 5 mins is a rip off given the cost of camping! Had a hard standing pitch but there was no EHU on mine.

First things first, we want to thank all members of staff for looking after us and supporting us for our wedding day. The venue ticked every box for us, gorgeous buildings, catering included and of course the hotel itself. We had a a fantastic wedding day and the staff were so helpful leading up to and on the day. They took extra care of our more elderly guests as well which was very much appreciated. All of our guests were blown away by the venue itself as well as the service provided. The hotel rooms were beautiful as well, could of done with some working aircon mind as it was a scorching hit day and night. The breakfast was very good as well. Thank you all again!

On behalf of my Wife and I, we would like to say a few words about this most amazing Wedding Venue. From the very first meeting to the breakfast at the very end of our amazing wedding, nothing was to much trouble and as any individuals arranging their big day - you worry, you fuss, you over think - no need what so ever. The wedding organisers have this, please believe me. At times things happen without you even blinking. I cant thank the staff enough for making our big day just perfect and I mean perfect in every way. Every single guest just loved the venue, and we were all made to feel so very special. Specail thanks to - every single member of staff at the venue, Slyvia @ Rustic Corner - book her she is just the best, Emily & Katy - superb photos, Christine Palethorpe on the Harp - sublime - Jackstar Disco - rocking & Marie @ Fruits of the florist - best flowers ever, fact ! It will always have a very specail place in our hearts as it was just the best day ever. If you are loooking for the most amazing place to get married - look no further. We were on the camp site, it's in a very convenient place next to donnington park, pretty much zero staff on sight about any info where stuff is, was not impressed that we had to pay for showers which only last for 5 minutes. Toilets weren't in the nicest of condition, alarm going off all the time. Pub right next to camp site where stuff was going on till midnight so struggled sleeping

Last minute stop over. Great service, fabulous nights sleep, the beds are so comfy. Great room with lovely views. Nice big bathroom, all amenities that you need. Set in beautiful surroundings Parking on site.

We had our wedding here in December 2021, after having to move our original wedding date twice due to COVID. I couldn't fault this venue at all, they were extremely accommodating, understanding and incredibly fair in rescheduling. Many venues saw rescheduling as a way to make an extra profit, but this venue just let us pick a new date. No fees, no fuss, just an amazing example of excellent customer service. The day ran very smoothly, even allowing us to add an extra guest to the meal when everyone was sitting down (they hadn't expected to be able to stay due to childcare). Everything felt safe, clean and staff were fantastic. We even got the cheese cake of dreams, all arranged and styled by the venue which was eaten in the evening and we had 2 massive boxes left over to take home! The only downside is the rooms really, nothing "extra" in the bridal room and they aren't luxury with no special touches, but the venue itself makes up for it. I would recommend this venue 1000%.

The most incredible wedding venue, the staff and place itself are both wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. They are so professional and can handle bigger weddings, maintaining a relaxed vibe for everyone. There is so much room both inside and outside and it is all enclosed so suitable to children too!

Firstly can I say what an excellent wedding venue this hotel is! Wonderful setting, architecture and facilities with the vaulted hall to dance /get married in, lovely outside courtyard area , cosy pigsties to eat in, and efficient staff. However....the room we stayed in , and the other rooms our friends stayed in near to us, need updating. We were very disappointed in them, they are a little shabby and tired. The shower in our room had parts where the grout was black, the flexible hose part of the shower didn't work as a shower, water just poured out,and the fixed shower head was virtually impossible to use due to the position if it....you could barely get under it as it was jammed into a corner. Our friends had torn furnishings. We all found the pillows VERY uncomfortable ,...far too hard although this is a personal thing for 8 if is to find them uncomfortable perhaps they need to replace them. This was such a shame as we had a lovely time at the wedding and were looking forward to a room the same standard as the main part of the hotel seemed to be. To be fair we stayed in what they call the stable block, totally separate to the main house, a minute or two walk away. These rooms need time , attention and money spending in them, or a reduction in price. I stay in hotels a lot and I wouldn't say the room is worth more than £70 at the most as it is at the moment. The rooms in the main house could be better but I wouldn't stay in the block we stayed in again unless it has work done on it. I would have given an even lower rating but I am.jidging the hotel as a whole, not just in the room we stayed in. Be aware also as as it's on the flight path there will be plane noise...but if you're local you'll know this know this, and if you're not you've perhaps researched it. It didn't bother us though.
