Yunqiju · Moganshan Guesthouse (Firefly Base)

I took advantage of the last holiday before school started and checked into Yunqiju. The entire homestay covers a large area. I didn't know at first that Yunqiju was divided into 1 store and 2 store. Store 1 should have only 5-6 rooms. The overall style is forest-style, very quiet, and there are relatively few people. Store 2 is more modern, similar to other surrounding homestays. We stayed in Store 1. I especially like the style here. As soon as you enter the homestay, you can see a large lawn on the left, where children can play football. Next to the lawn is the lobby, where there are comfortable sofas for guests who have not checked in to rest. The gentle proprietress will also provide tea and coffee to the guests, making me feel at home. The next day, it drizzled in Mogan Mountain. I sat on the sofa, drinking coffee and watching the drizzle outside. I felt that my heart had never been so calm. The rooms here are very distinctive. There is a large terrace in front of each room. Our room is close to the mountain, with a separate door and courtyard, and good privacy. The room is round. As soon as you enter the door, there is a big bed. Lying on the bed, you can see the greenery outside. The mood will be very comfortable. The toilet and towel rack in the bathroom are both smart. This is quite considerate. Mogan Mountain should be quite cold in winter. These automatic heating appliances will make people feel warm. The B&B also has an area dedicated to drinking tea around the stove. I think if you come here in winter, drinking tea and roasting fire here is also a good choice. Next to the B&B is the firefly base. I heard from the proprietress that they and insect experts spent three years to maintain the ecological environment of this place, so that it can become the home of fireflies and let us see the fairy-tale firefly world. The B&B also has its own farm, which has dragon fruit, grapes, cherry tomatoes, watermelons, and many vegetables. The housekeeper said that the vegetables here are provided to the B&B and are not taken away. We picked grapes ourselves in the farm the next day. The grapes here are particularly sweet and taste better than the grapes sold outside. There is also a large lawn, a canopy, and chairs in the farm. It is also more suitable for company team building. When we checked out the next day, the proprietress also gave us our own designed eco-friendly bags with some snacks in them. It was really considerate. I think I have a good vision. I chose such a great homestay among so many in Moganshan. I like to come again in the winter when it snows to experience a different style. I have recommended it to my friends!

The round room is an imitation of an ancient farmhouse. There is a small lawn where children can play football, swim, pick fireflies, and have a firefly class. It is rare to see the twinkling fireflies at night. The hotel service is thoughtful, and the farmhouse dishes for dinner are very authentic. Afternoon tea makes everyone feel relaxed.

The housekeeper was very patient and answered all kinds of questions. The afternoon tea was also very nice. The children played in the water by the stream while having afternoon tea. The fireflies were also worth watching. They were little elves of nature. I will come again if I have the chance. 😀

I came here with my friends and kids. It's a great homestay. There are firefly explanations at night. We were taken to pick grapes in the morning. They also sent us to cook tea around the stove. I want to come again next time.

The staff said that there will be more fireflies after the rain and the effect will be better. The staff of the firefly base treats the little lives with care and cultivates them carefully. The external environment is good, you can see fireflies, but the air conditioner in the room blows towards the bed all the time, which is uncomfortable.
