There's an observation deck upstairs, and our room also had a view of the snowy mountains. The owner was super nice; they said breakfast was from 7:30 to 9:00 AM, but we came down around 10:00 AM and they still made us breakfast to eat! It was absolutely beautiful!

I was able to have a very comfortable stay and relax. It was a place that gave me hope again.

Highly recommended staying here. The view of the mountain is just opposite the hotel. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

It's super convenient to see Meili Snow Mountain; you get a beautiful view right from your room. **Ambiance:** The rooftop observation deck is stunning and exceptionally well-designed. **Service:** The owner and staff are all very friendly and approachable. **Cleanliness:** Clean and comfortable. **Facilities:** They have both drinks and snacks available.

Location is good, bus station is just nearby. Just opposite the observation deck. Breakfast is simple, had our dinner at hotel restaurant too but taste so so.

I have to give this hotel a perfect score! It's the absolute best spot to see the sunrise over the snowy peaks. The service was incredibly warm and attentive. We had to rush for our bus and didn't have time for breakfast, so the owner even gave us yogurt to take with us. Next time any friends go to Feilai Temple, I'll definitely tell them to stay at this hotel.

Excellent service! I was leaving when breakfast was almost over, and the owner called me back, worried I hadn't had a chance to eat, so I made it just in time for the last few minutes. The rooftop viewing deck also offers fantastic photo opportunities.

Although the decor is a bit dated, the cleanliness is acceptable. The view is excellent, directly facing Shennv Peak, and there are no construction cranes visible. The room is roadside, so there might be some noise from passing trucks. The hotel food is delicious, homemade and not expensive; as a Guangzhou native, I'm very satisfied.

The perfect hotel for watching the sunrise over the Meili Snow Mountain. It's located right on G214 National Road in Feilai Temple, with unobstructed views in front, and the rooftop terrace offers an excellent panorama. The Western-style breakfast in the morning was also superb.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the snowy mountains, including the stunning 'Golden Summit in the Sun' right from your bed. Feilai Temple is just a short walk away, and there are plenty of convenient dining options nearby. The in-room oxygen supply device is excellent, and breakfast is abundant and delicious.

It's conveniently located right across from the Meili snow mountain platform. Clean and great amenities. Fantastic breakfast right after the sunset viewing.

This hotel is absolutely the best in Feilai Temple. During the National Day holiday, I stayed two nights in Feilai Temple. The first night was at a purely commercial guesthouse, which was basically hostel quality, at 1350 yuan a night. It lacked any detail or love for the snow-capped mountains. The second night, I stayed at this place, Meili Past, a family room for 1250 yuan. The balcony offered direct views of all the snow-capped mountains, though for even better views, you could go to the rooftop or drive another 10 minutes to the observation deck. We stayed one night, and when we left, we were so grateful we wanted to take a photo with the owner. Every detail in the room showed that the owner put a lot of thought into making sure everyone visiting the sacred mountains had a smooth and comfortable stay. For instance, there were high-powered binoculars, takeaway cups with lids, ginger tea, and even candy and small biscuits in the hallway, something you'd usually only find in a star-rated hotel, along with unlimited mineral water. The rooftop terrace had perfectly positioned seating for capturing the 'Golden Mountain' sunrise, as well as a reflective pool. What exceeded expectations most was that the rooftop also provided cups, mineral water, a coffee machine, tap water, a kettle, and tea for guests waiting to photograph the 'Golden Mountain.' Plus, there were even tripods for phones and DSLRs available for convenience. The attention to detail was incredible! The breakfast, including toast, fried eggs, and yogurt, was all freshly made by the owner, very clean, and of excellent quality. We've traveled to many places over the years and stayed in countless hotels and guesthouses, but this one truly made us feel the owner's dedication. Not to mention, there was even a book in the room written by the owner, detailing their experiences trekking Kawa Karpo's more than a dozen routes over many years. I finished reading it in one night; it was fantastic. I had planned to buy a signed copy from the owner when I left, but it was out of print. On the way back, I managed to find a copy on 'Duo Zhua Yu' (a used book platform). All in all, this guesthouse comes highly recommended.

We visited during the National Day holiday and due to limited availability, we ended up booking a family room. There were four of us girls, and upon arrival, the hotel immediately offered to extend the complimentary breakfast to cover all four of us. The breakfast, prepared by the owner and staff, included Yunnan coffee, milk, and toast, which was absolutely delicious. The beds in the room were incredibly spacious, and the amenities were excellent. There was still plenty of room even with all four of us. The bathroom was super clean and even had heating. The room also came with a humidifier, which was a very thoughtful touch. We stayed on the second floor, and the view was quite good, but the rooftop terrace was even better. The observation deck across the street was also very close, and there were many great restaurants nearby. We felt that the yak hotpot and butter tea here tasted even better than those in Shangri-La city center. The room was equipped with an oxygen concentrator and an oximeter. One of my friends experienced altitude sickness and wasn't sure how to use them, but the owner promptly came over to show us. It was fantastic. Although we didn't get to see the 'golden mountains' (sun-drenched peaks) during our trip, our stay was incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

This hotel boasts a prime location, with a large balcony and an unbeatable rooftop offering the best views of Meili Snow Mountain. The hotel's meticulous attention to detail is evident everywhere. The owner's breakfast was delicious. Even though I only saw a "fog-shrouded golden mountain," Meili was definitely worth the trip, even if I got a little sunburned.
