Inn at Arch Rock

We loved our stay here. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast offered in the lobby each morning was good. We have stayed in several ocean front hotels before from Hawaii to Key West, but the view from our room at the Inn at Arch Rock was unbeatable Just stunning.

Lovely family run inn. Beautiful views and great location. The breakfast was great. The hotel is not super fancy but it was clean, very spacious, comfortable, and had a lot of special touches including welcome note and cocktails, personal toiletries, and delicious coffee. Look forward to a return visit.

My last stay in July 2022 was indeed worth remembering and pleasant - so I had booked another night for June 2024 way back in January 2024 directly on the inn's website. I did get a booking reference number but no further instructions or confirmation mail. On arrival date I foresaw I might be late, so I tried to contact reception beforehand. Two phone numbers - one for reception, one for emergencies - were unavailable all day (5 attempts for each number) -- on a weekday during normal business hours. I left my (foreign) mobile phone number on their answer machine, but got no reply. In the late afternoon I received an E-Mail confirming my stay, but no further instructions. Then I got an SMS message on my mobile at 8:56 pm saying that arrivals would be taken until 9:00 pm and that their phone would not allow any calls. How then did they get an SMS through and why wasn't it possible to write earlier? Meanwhile, however, I had changed my stay to the Holiday Inn in Newport. And this place charged me the full overnight stay for "no show".... No comment.

Loved this place and the location. Amazing views, comfortable room, and kind hosts who gave us great information about the inn and about Depoe Bay. The inn has its own beautiful tiny beach and cove with (steep) steps leading down to it--maybe challenging depending on your mobility level--but it has great tidepools, and a harbor seal was posing for us on the rocks nearby. They served a wonderful breakfast in front of a picture window view of the bay. The inn is a very short walk away from the town of Depoe Bay with some cute restaurants, whale watching companies, etc. We hope to go back and would definitely stay there again.

Fresh, clean and comfortable beds with soft pillows. The included breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruits delicious muffins, bagels and cream cheese, sausage, scrambled eggs and fresh brewed coffee. Direct Ocean view from our windows and the dining area were picture perfect. They even provided binoculars at every window.

This is a wonderful stop! We spent 2 nights at this hotel and wished we had more time to stay longer. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff made us feel very welcome and were very attentive to ensuring we enjoyed the stay. There is private access to make areas of the ocean and each room has a view. We can't say enough about the husband/wife team who managed this place. They made the stay special!

Definitely a panoramic view!! Wonderful hosts. Gave a birthday celebration to my daughter- wine, paperweight and awesome card!! Very pleasant stay- excellent breakfast. Room had coffee, wonderful amenities and well stocked room. Didn’t realize our room was on second floor- be sure to ask where your room is located.

The Inn at Arch Rock Depoe Bay, Oregon 6/6/24 – 6/7/24 If you’re looking for a room with a view, this place would be hard (if not impossible) to beat. Unfortunately, the “Arch” crumbled in 2004, but don’t worry, the views are still among the best coastal vistas on the planet! We stayed in room 7. I’m sure that all of the rooms have spectacular views, but unless you’re staying in one of their new Suites, ask for room 7. It has the best views. I actually couldn’t believe it when we walked in. We’ve stayed in lots of hotels with great views, but this one is something special. If you’re traveling with family or friends, try out the Suites. They are newly remodeled. Beautiful! And of course, the views are to die for. Aside from the views, it’s a charming hotel in a charming little Oregon coastal town. You can’t go wrong here! Checkin / out: The staff are wonderful! Friendly, welcoming, helpful, and very accommodating. Checkin and checkout were easy and quick. Cleanliness: We were happy to find the room spotless. Bed: The bed was OK. We had a queen (we prefer a king, I guess we’re spoiled…) which was comfortable, but the pillows were in serious need of an upgrade. Décor: Depending on which room you stay in, you’ll either have nice (if a bit dated) decor with comfortable furniture, or if you stay in their recently updated Suites, you’ll have wonderfully updated rooms with modern décor, tastefully decorated and the best of everything. Nearby: The little town of Depoe Bay is within easy walking distance (about 1 mile roundtrip.) You’ll find a variety of restaurants, touristy gift shops, all the salt water taffy you’d ever care to eat, boating excursions, and of course, some of the most amazing ocean views anywhere. A little closer is the Tidal Raves Seafood Grill. At the very least, stop in for a drink and enjoy the views… Parking: There’s ample parking right in from of the rooms. No worries here!
